Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2017 Off-Season

Check out Clarkson's schedule...talk about make or break early on.

Did I miss some news? What's up with Connor Clifton? Doesn't look like he attended AZ Development camp and doesn't look like he signed. Testing free agency?

That's what I heard he was doing. Hopefully it works in his favor come August 15th.

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2017 Off-Season

The St. Lawrence/Clarkson games were swapped probably at the request of the Quinnipiac due to road discrepancy early in the 2nd half of the season

Update to the Truehl story is he is going to sign a pro contract

As a graduate, wouldn't he be eligible to play this year at another school under the NCAA graduate rule ? Or does he forfeit that because he already transferred as an undergrad?

He still has a year of eligibility and he "paid his dues" when he transferred to Quinnipiac so he should have been able to transfer and play this year if he wanted to.

If he's really going pro, good for him! That's great to hear.

He is definitely going pro. Just waiting on the details of it.

There is no love lost there. He was absolutely terrible mid season and would clearly be in the 3rd spot. Also was not a good cultural fit with the team. Screwing around in the weight room instead of going after because you think your basic training from AFA will carry you was not going to go over well with this team. I don't think he is going to be very missed at the end of the day
