Big Z Yank, when I said "someone needs to stand up and say we're not going to take it", I did not mean us, the fans, I meant in the locker room. I was just following the thread that leadership is not yet shown on the ice. I have been a fan of Quinnipiac hockey for so long, that I was the only car parked in the then named "Corel Center" in Ottawa with "Quinnipiac" decal on the back window. I follow a few ECAC & Hockey East teams but Big10 also coming up nicely, too. Hope Quinnipiac has great finish this month and into December of course, then hope for nice run into year end and next year. New season is only few wins away.....good points on "one shift, one period, one game", and you get into ECAC s underdog, I would not want to face an emerging team like this in post season like Clarkson last year. P.S. I am still reeling from hit Luke Esposito put on Sam Anas few years back...took the wind out of the season for me.

Huge game tonight. No looking ahead to tomorrow. Take care of today's business. Put in a complete effort, don't let up, and play smart. The skill is there. Time to show the heart and soul of this team.

I will definitely take the 5-0 victory and the much needed 2 points, but there's still work to do. They were much better tonight with net front presence. Lots of 2nd and 3rd looks with a few that went in. Landon Smith was on fire and I thought McMaster was solid. Shortie played his best game thus far and deserved the shutout. As a whole they played much better than last weekend (it couldn't get any worse) but still a little too loose out there. They played with heart which is exactly what they needed to do. Continue doing the little things and they'll get the results.

Now they can turn their attention to tomorrow and take it to Yale in defense of the Heroes Hat.

Hopefully we get some students coming back to campus for this game after leaving yesterday -- it's the student section that makes this the best event on campus every year. Also hoping we come out with the same energy as last night - get a goal early and ride the emotion the rest of the way.

You have to hope that some stayed until after the game tonight before heading home and hopefully they can get the local students to help fill the section.

Well I have to say the guys did good job last night. There were lots of second chances on rebounds and a good effort all around. Lets do it again tonight.

Good start to the weekend last night. I Wasn't able to make it to the game last night , but will be there tonight. Hopefully they come out hard and get another much needed win.

What a game! A little tenuous at times but the put in a complete effort and weathered some adversity (note to Tanner: do not retaliate) to secure the win. Shortridge was phenomenal and got plenty of help in front. Aldworth finally showed what he could do... he needs to do that more often.

Certainly a great confidence booster and 4 much needed points. Well played, boys!

That was fun.

Watching on TV you don't realize the blazing speed this team has, but these guys can MOTOR. Yale had no answer for our speed, and when you're blowing past your opponent AND winning every wall battle, that's a pretty good recipe. As you expect in the Yale game, outstanding compete level tonight.

Really glad to see a full student section tonight -- they weren't as loud as I remember from previous Yale games, but the full student section always gets the rest of the building rocking.

This does feel like one of those teams that's going to get better as the season goes on. Hopefully that's the case, because it's pretty evident to me that four-game losing streak was an anomaly.

Have to agree great game. Aldsworth had a real pretty goal and Shortridge got a well deserved 2 shutout weekend. On to next weekend and UMass Amherst

Great game tonight, this club is playing with much better energy. Nice to see Reid Cashman in the building, too. This is the right direction.
