Quinnipiac Bobcats 2016-17 - It's 873 miles to Chicago...

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2016-17 - It's 873 miles to Chicago...

Not only have the wheels fallen off the bus, but they've rolled off into the woods. What an ugly game... not unlike many others this season. Totally undisciplined play after starting strong and actually outplaying Union in the first 5 minutes of the game. While it looks like we'll be home in the 1st round, I'm concerned that we can advance from there. There's is not a whole lot of time left to fix what's broken. We have a potential 6 points left and we'll need every one of them. Time to pull on the big boy pants and get to work.

They may advance one round depending on the opponent at this point. Not a lot of talent right now or depth and the goaltending has been inconsistent.

This is obviously disappointing, and this team has certainly underachieved, but let's not forget that one year ago we were the No. 1 team in the country. Everyone has down years once in a while, and this program is still closer than not to the ultimate goal.

Hopefully they can win a round, maybe they'll get lucky and make it back to Placid. This team's got the talent to make a run, but nothing suggests they have it in them right now.

Even though I'd be the first to agree with this, watching a caliber of play like last night is a disappointment. I knew this was going to be a down year but losing with your best effort is vastly different than losing without effort.

Hopefully they can win a round, maybe they'll get lucky and make it back to Placid.
My optimism says the same thing, my gut tells me something different.

This team's got the talent to make a run, but nothing suggests they have it in them right now.
That's the discouraging part of all this.

Nice rebound from last night.

And now, the time has come... #BeatYale!

I didn't see Tim Clifton on the ice last night. Looked like Mick replaced him. Was he injured/sick or a healthy scratch, or did I just miss him for 60 mins.
He was a last minute scratch for some reason. The RPI announcers mentioned it but had no details.

Disappointing season so far.

At this point, beat Yale and advance a round in the ECAC tournament would be a satisfactory end to the season.

Some maturity, especially from Shortridge who I think can be very good, and some help from incoming recruits, and back in the tournament next year is a reasonable hope. Someone also has to step up and score some goals.

Good news, everyone! You can stream every game of the ECAC Tournament for the low-price of $9.95.

No, not $9.95 for the entire tournament. $9.95 per game.

Never change, ECAC. Never change.

Need to win tonight and have Dartmouth beat Saint Lawrence putting massive pressure on the Saints for Saturday's game.

To get a 1st round bye we need to sweep this weekend and then hope we get help from others. No sense watching the scoreboard if we can't handle our own business. Anything less than 4 points and we're home next week most likely against Brown.

Go Q!
