I appreciate the added opinions on here as we proceed into NCAA season, but for someone to think the rivalry with Yale has ANYTHING to do with staying in ECAC (if we do) has completely lost it. Lahey is a lot of things, small minded, is not one of them. Treating the Yale rivalry has a reason to stay is SO short term its CRAZY. Everything is long term when it comes to big decisions with universities. Look I love the Yale game and I know Yale treats it as a rivalry, even if they say they don't. But we have to be realistic, we've been playing them for like 10 years. Yale has been playing the likes of Harvard, Princeton, and Cornell for ages. Those are more rivals to Yale then us. When our men's soccer team plays Yale, students pack in the stands. At Yale, no one cares. People go to Yale-Harvard games for many sports and from both schools, regardless of how the teams are doing. It's so different than what we have with Yale. We all need to realize that.
