Quinnipiac Bobcats 2015-16 - The post-season journey...

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2015-16 - The post-season journey...

I am sure Coach Wilson is telling his guys to lay off Anas because he may not be 100%, Please! This is the NCAA,'s, you take any advantage given. And I bet Rand is telling his guys to check less hard because RIT might be more "fair" on Sam. I hope the kid plays, he deserves it, but nobody gets a pass this time of year.

I see how you took that to an extreme. Good job! The play in the ECAC is a lot more scrappy, and borderline dirt than most other conferences. Don't be a fool and get all up tight.

No point in having him face contact today. Better to do it tomorrow as long as he can play.

In the regular season, a player wearing a non-contact jersey the day before a game would almost certainly not play the following night. So, it's concerning. There's a reason he's wearing a non-contact jersey.

Not being a fool, but thanks for that. Hockey East IMO is much dirtier in conference than the ECAC. Final 16 are extreme times and teams do what they have to do to win.

After Friday's practice, Sam Anas said he doesn't know Quinnipiac's plan for him tomorrow in the NCAA East regional opener against RIT.

I say he does what he did last year... dresses but sees limited action, maybe PP only.

I don't chime in here much anymore but god this is a dumb take. Building an entire program around a one-sided rivalry is as dumb an idea as it gets. Associating academically with the ivies is the only valid part of that argument.

This approach of highlighting the QU/Yale rivalry and building an association with ECAC schools has brought us this far.

If your ultimate measuring stick is Yale, then you are not reaching high enough.

The Mullet and Bucci just said that Anas was a great loss for QU, but did not elaborate whether they were talking about, last year, last week or this week?

I am so, so, so glad those two aren't the announcers for our regional. I'm not a Buccigross fan -- really don't enjoy his calls, wish ESPN would have Gary Thorne doing it instead.

Beat RIT!!!

We will be heading up to Albany just for today. Hopefully they get past RIT and I can continue to be mad that game 2 is on Easter Sunday and I have to settle to watch at home :)

Are any of you guy's going to be at the City Beer Hall prior to the game? Hopefully we get there early enough to stop by and pre game with some fellow fans.
