Cornell comes to the Bank next week. Should be an intense series.

Another bloodbath for Q and the Big Red. I was rooting hard for Dartmouth tonight. Cornell has extra incentive as they are now #16 in the pairwise and any victory over QU will help them move up.

Absolutely going to be a blood bath. After Yale this is a team that I feel like Quinnipiac despises. Expect the series to be physical and chippy. No love lost for Ben Syer as well.

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2015-16 - Another journey begins...

Quinnipiac picks up a new recruit today in 1999 forward Matt Cassidy out of Team Comcast. He is a July 1999 DOB so he is 16 still. He was 4th in the AYHL scoring and 1st for Team Comcast with 29 points. 15 goals and 14 assists. He also played a couple of games for the USU17 team this year.

6'0 180 lbs out of Medford, NJ.

Drafted 2015, round 12 #229 overall by Sarnia Sting in the OHL Priority Selection
Drafted 2015, round 2 #19 overall by Green Bay Gamblers in the USHL Futures Draft

He is a prospect eligible for the 2017 NHL Draft

NoDak jumped us for #1 in the Pairwise. Looks like the boys got a little motivation to win the Whitelaw.
I think that it's now time to start throwing the polls out the window enough with the analytical bs you sound like a fan. Being a former collegiate player I believer in order to be the best we need to beat the best. We know who we play with number one in pairwise so whatever it is it is, on that note this is a time for us to prove ourselves in the ecac and in the dance regardless of pairwise or some bs poll ****. They had a terrific season and were rewarded especially jonzzon.😉 it's time to prove the haters wrong. And hopefully we'll get some people there at the bank this weekend. Our student section is weak it's embarrassing. You have grad students leading the pack or whatever you call who shows up some just fans in a student section. This is what we have been waiting for all year throw everything out its a new season boys now it's time to put QU on the map. "Im sick and tired of hearing how good these **** soviets are"!! Let's go Q 🎤drop

Sounds to me like someone forgot to take their anxiety medication today. I think pairwise and polls are a great measuring stick for not only the fans but for the organization. You are the guy that probably loves participation trophies too... OH my little Boy deserves a trophy too! No, wrong! It's time to take things a little more serious, no time to take prisoners. PERIOD. You got to come out hard, hit hard, skate hard, CRASH the NET! Being in the #1 position is good motivation for the boys and slipping in the pairwise is even better. I feel like you maybe a little bit overzealous in your reaction to that post.

Wow... Really contradicting yourself there I think the polls are a great "measuring stick" during the regular season but like I said as a former player at this level this is where you throw that bs out and realize that anyone can beat anyone. As far as trophies go my personal opinion is that you need to earn a trophy "if you ain't first your last" and on pumping the boys up your play on words was lackluster to say the least. Rah rah was that from the ice cats? I'm never overzealous this is the time to button everything up and get ready for the dance! "**** the torpedoes"

That and the coaches hate each other. I can't remember another time when a coach (Schafer) called another coach (Pecknold) and a--hole.

There's a youtube clip of it if you can find it:

"Whoa, very important and very pretentious
When I look back I might be mad that I gave this attention"

I think I can sit here and use other people's words all day too. To be completely honest, I think that you are over here trying to gain some friends by using these "who's is bigger" lines. Instead of focusing on bashing someone maybe you can start with a grammar lesson, from someone who never went to college:

I'm not even going to mess with that God awful run-on first sentence.
As far as trophies go, my personal opinion is, you need to earn a trophy. "if you ain't first your last" - "If you ain't first, you're last." and on pumping the boys up. Your play on words was lackluster, to say the least.

Take that back to your D1 College experience.

Not gonna be any better this weekend with the students starting break. I'm sure there will be some diehards who show up but we'll be relying on the season ticket holders and general public to carry the ball. The building just isn't the same without the students, regardless of how lame they may be.

As for the series itself... if we come out and play our game there's no reason we can't put the Big Red away. Whatever happens this should be a barn burner...

You also lose a few local fans with Yale playing home the same weekend, I know I and a few other hardcore hockey fans attend Q playoff games if Yale is out of the picture or out of town.

Yeah, Our Daughter is coming home from QU for break on friday. She will be home just long enough for us to give her a high five on our way out the door to head up to QU :)

I dont recall being disappointed in the crowd last year when Union was here for the Quarter Finals. The students were on break then as well.

One thing I don't understand is how we are developing a fully A.I. car out here and most of these streaming companies can't even get HD picture correct.

There are no tickets available online -- only via phone, so it seems like the building will be pretty full, at least.

I'm sure the games will be sold out. It's just a totally different atmosphere without students, even if the aren't hockey savvy. Regular crowds don't get loud enough for me! ;)

I would guess that BoxCast will be using the normal QU feed... unless QU does what RPITV did and told BC to pound sand.

I'll be at the games so streaming options are immaterial to me, however I do feel it's wrong for the league to take control of the playoffs like they are. I can see Lake Placid, but the on-campus series should be available to the fans they same way they've been all season. At a minimum, make it a single purchase with the ability to flip between games.
