HUGE TV Weekend (NESN) for Quinnipiac, Dartmouth & Harvard at QU's TD Bank Sports Center. Hope the local QU Students, Fans, Faculty, Staff and Alumni will all be therewith their Game Day Gold!![]()
I think tonight is a big of a game as I can remember at the Bank. Two top-10 opponents ready to battle it out with a lot riding on the outcome. Dartmouth appears to be the real deal so we'd better be ready. Solid D and goaltending as usual will be needed for this one.
Go Q!
Not sure if the 09 UMass game was. I think that's the only likely candidate. Where's allnightstatguy when you need him?Have we ever hosted a game between two top-ten teams? I can't remember one...
Damn your memory is good. Not sure if the 09 UMass game was. I think that's the only likely candidate.
A painful memory... the next week were were ranked #4 and then the BIG slide occurred in the 2nd half.Damn your memory is good.
Wow... awesome game tonight although it probably should have never gone to OT. Wonger and I had JST in the doghouse for most of the game and he redeemed himself by netting the game winner! Hartzell was stellar even in giving up 2, making big saves when he needed to. I'm pretty sure Dartmouth's first goal went in off of Federico who ended up in the net with the puck. It seemed like Dartmouth was content to play for the tie in OT while we came out hungry and aggressive. At the final buzzer it was a W for the Bobcats and that's all that matter.
Back at it tomorrow against the Crimson.
What amazes me thus far is that there isn't just a couple of guys leading the team. In other words, no superstars. Just a solid line-up that doesn't really have any glaring weaknesses (ok, there's still an issue with the PP but...). We're getting contributions from top to bottom. What a team we have this year.

Tonight I thought they played a little better than last night. Passing was better and they were making better decisions. Of course, Harvard was nowhere near as good as Dartmouth. Again, Hartzell was solid and I can't blame him for either goal he let in. Stoning a 3-on-none was one of his best saves this season.
Overall, another great effort by the Bobcats. Keep the train rolling boys!![]()
What a weekend! Hate to put it on paper for fear of jinxing it, but I think it is fair to say the second half will not be a repeat of 2009! This is for real. Any predictions on the rankings come tomorrow?
