I was just saying arguably. You know better than anyone that there are times when I am less than impressed with his play. But I'm sure there are plenty out there who think he may have the most talent on the team. Just saying :p .

When was the last time we saw this kind of reaction from our adversaries? :cool:

I think that's the best part of what we accomplised in Ohio! ;)

Just saw the scores!!! (Sorry, a little late on the uptake... was at Bruce last night instead of in Ohio).


This is a huge start to the season. That may register us a couple more points in the rankings. This is a great way to quiet down some skeptics who are chalking this year up as an off year for us.

Hopefully we can use this as momentum to attack the conference schedule. It won't be an easy season with so many ECAC teams ranked or close to being ranked. But if we play like it sounded like we did in these two games it will certainly be an interesting and hopefully successful year.

Received "Bubblicious" commendation on the INCH rankings. Should expect to move to the middle/top of "Also Receiving Votes" in the USCHO.

Yeah, I think that's about right. It'd be way to premature to expect us to move into the top 20. If anything I think OSU was a little overrated. Just have to keep up the winning ways and cannot have a let down against Bentley.

Relax- It's from the USA Two and a Half Weeks ago.

Just go to the top of the page and click rankings. Haven't updated it yet for me.

I was hopin for a little more than 11 points, but the USCHO poll is a little more forgiving so lets wait and see where we fall there.

Congrats to Lamps and Clarke. This battle in net should be one for the ages and we havent even seen the heavily lauded Cadieux!

^ Yeah its still a young season. Even at 11 pts we're the 5th team on the Receiving votes, roughly equivalent to 20th overall. Still hard to believe we're worthy of being recognized above Michigan State, New Hampshire and Northeastern but I'll take it.

Lets not get caught up in polls after one week. They are meaningless. QU would be best served this season flying under the radar as long as possible.

I agree. At this point the only thing the polls are good for is bragging rights (and that's mainly for us fans). The team most definitely cannot get caught up in the hoopla; they need to be focused on the game in front of them.

I agree totally. Staying under the radar will be good for us, especially against the other ECAC teams ranked high in the polls. Beating a Yale, Cornell, or Princeton will be that much sweeter if it seems to be more of a upset.

Bentley is not necessarily going to be a walk in the park, especially coming to us right from Northeastern. They need to be focused on the next game and not what their rankings are. Those numbers don't mean anything till the last month of the year anyways. There's too much changing going on now to get caught up in who thinks we're good or not.
