QU 3 - OSU 2 Thursday

QU 4 - OSU 2 Friday

The rookie goalies (I assume the two freshmen are splitting these games) will come through in both games.

Will be watching the video stream coverage. Couldn't make the trip after all. Wretched relatives dropped in from Canada for a visit.

Hey guys,
I listened to the game Sunday...sounded a little slugish but they won, so that's good. Now let's sweep those Buckeyes this weekend eh? Well...one can hope but I see OSU winning both games. LETS GO BOBCATS!!!

I certainly hope so as I think what happens between the pipes is crucial for our success this season.

Huge Win! Great way to start the season beating a nationally ranked Buckeyes team. Hartzell was stellar and its great to see the points coming from our senior leaders. Seems like it got chippy throughout the game, including an ejection. This only leads to a fun filled game tomorrow night.

Way to go boys. Sweep em tomorrow!

I am in shock...I did not think even 1 win was possible here...looks like Hartzell is the real deal eh?

Is this our first defeat over a CCHA school? Also I believe this is the first time QU has beaten OSU in anything (remember they were in the same conference for lacrosse until this year)

Am I over-reacting in saying this could be our 3rd or 4th biggest win in team history? This could be a history-changing win for the program that's for sure!

Good win tonight at OSU.

Heard there were a good number of QU fans in attendance, mainly behind the visitors bench.

Great win. I know it's early, but it looks like all the effort that went into recruiting goaltenders will pay off. With great goaltending the Bobcats could go all the... better not jinx them!

Wow! Nice way to start the season.

After a quick start, it sounded like things were going to get ugly for the Bobcats. They seemed to get stronger as the game wore on and were on fire for the entire 3rd!

Keep it up and get 'em again tomorrow!

Very good start to the season - The 3rd period was huge the video feed is always tough but they seemed to dominated and Fr goalie looked good - Nice start for Lampe, Wong, Hansen, Holt, Atkinson, etc.- Lets hope they come out tomorrow and get a point or two

Regardless of tomorrow the power points are huge - OSU schedule is nasty and QU will benefit - Its a long long season - Cornell Princeton Yale,etc. - you never no!

Not even close.

Cornell to get to Albany, SLU in Albany, winning the AHA Tourney back in 03, Harvard/Dartmouth that first ECAC weekend, and that's just off the top of my head.

This isn't even close. A non-conference game against an average team (sorry, but they're 17 out of 59, they're middle of the pack). Sure, they play in a good conference, but this isn't a harbinger of things to come -- it's a good win to open a season against a big-name team. That's all it is.

Don't get too excited yet, he really was not tested, hardly any challenging saves. He could not hold onto the puck, gave up too many rebounds, this will come back to haunt throughout the season if it continues

If the boys can come out and skate the way they did in the 3rd last night, they can control the tempo of the game and do some damage. They just need to keep their heads in it and not let up.
