Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

I've been wondering when we'd hear from you! ;)

From what I've been told, you ought to be impressed this year. I know letting go of Bud has been hard for you, but these newcomers should help you get over the hurdle! :p

I'm going to miss Bud too. I hope these new goalies are good. I was not impressed with Clarke last year. I think McGann hasn't really been given a chance. i know we have had 4 goalies the last couple of years but i still don't get it.

unfortunately i won't be able to make it on sunday :(

Quinnipiac fans,

I was wondering....do you have any NHL Draft picks? If so, who and for which team? and possibly draft year...thank you

Me too. Even with all his rough times, he had a very good career as a Bobcat. All in all, it could have been much worse.

I'm told they are and reading up on them seems to support that. Clarke showed some potential last year (anyone remember the Air Force game?). I think his real problem was experience. Given an opportunity who knows how he'll do.

No he hasn't but at this point it really doesn't matter. I think he knows what his place is on the team and is ok with that.

On the bright side, it is only an exhibition. We'll forgive you this time!

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

QU let #37 Kevin Bui go.
Not surprising as he was probably the weakest of the remaining freshmen from last year. I will say that he played with a lot of heart everytime he saw the ice. Always hustled, but just didn't have the skill set.

Any word on if he's leaving QU altogether to try and find an opportunity elsewhere?

May have been posted but bears repeating, the Cornell and Colgate home games in February will be broadcasted LIVE on CBS College Sports.

Yes, I am quietly lurking.... and devastated.

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

I just checked the QU men's hockey roster which is finally online. Brandon Wong is NOT listed. I hope and pray that this is a mistake. He is the best player on the team. We need him out there! :(

I hope Rand did not do anything foolish!

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

I checked too and also wanted to verify that Wong is a senior. (I may send him a graduation present. He kills Union). BTW, 13 freshmen, yikes.

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

Sorry for the misinformation. I over looked his name accidentally and started to panic. I am really excited about the coming season. :)

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 09-10: Clawing our way to Albany

Do not expect an easy game from PEI this afternoon. They played a physical tough game against RPI last night (3-3 tie RPI 2-1 In a shootout). RPI was down 3-1 midway through the third and was only allowed back into the game by hard work by their frosh. and A BREAK BY THE REFS ( that never happens!)
Good Luck!
