Quinnipiac 2014-2015 Women's Thread: "Kelly Who?"

Great Bobcat team this year. Really deep up front and returning 5/6ths of the D and Laden is back. Big time opportunity

Not sure what to make of this team yet, although from what I've read, they've added three impact players to replace Babstock. I get the sense it's a lunch bucket team that works hard and will make life miserable for any team they play. Clarkson exposed them last year in ECAC playoffs - a lack of speed and scoring punch. They'll have to fix both issues to break into the elite.

Defense has been absolutely stellar this year. Interested to see them go up against another elite team to see how it transfers. Laden still hasn't allowed a goal. Only problem has been the second game of the week the offense hasn't been as potent.

Bobcats sweep the weekend at Cornell. I dont think Cornell is elite but they are definitely a solid team and a 3-0 victory is great. People aren't going to give this team a lot of credit till they face Harvard. Got to stay hungry even if it's against inferior opponents till the Harvard game

I'm a bit surprised that there hasn't been more widespread recognition of the incredibly disciplined play of this Bobcats team. They just don't seem to make mistakes...keep opposing teams to the perimeter, block an amazing number of shots...and they just never take penalties (well, it seems like never). They have the look of the being the best coached team in the NCAA.

Quinnipiac's Defense,* a goalie god maker!!

5 had single digit SOG!!!!
CHT vs Quinni** 48 - 7

I am a QU fan and enjoying watching them play this season. they are definitely hardworking and from what I know the team has great chemistry. Congrats to Chelsea Laden with setting a QU record with the most shutouts in one season! (no, she is not my D)
