I first met Dave when I was a freshman in college (not PC) and he had the Ernie D. - Marvin Barnes team then and was just after the trip to the final four. I remember an inspriational conversation about leadership. He always struck me a remarkable leader but unassuming leader. RIP Dave.

We met the coach tonite and he has me on board.....this will be a team with class......roster is almost complete just waiting on status of 2 freshmen

Great article. Coach Leaman has been working tirelessly since being hired and I feel that fans of PC hockey couldn't have asked for a better effort from him thus far.

I think that his teams are going to have some edge when they compete and be a difficult opponent to face over the next few seasons. The program had hit rock bottom and it will be an interesting ride back into the top four in HE. I love his work ethic and it can't help but rub off on his players going forward.

After reading yesterday's projo story I just might have to go buy some new rose colored glasses.

It would be great to see Nate turn this ship around. It is just frustrating that rebuilding takes a long, long time. I guess there is nowhere for PC to go but up.

Did you see where PC got eight votes in the USCHO preseason poll?

Have to give the hockey guy his due.....good job with both Hockey and Bucketball, both coaches seem to be the right people at the right time, now we have to be a bit patient
 
Yesterday was the 1st full day of practice and i was hoping to see something in the projo today, nothing. Also on the website no roster yet and the lead story hasn't changed since oct. 15th. I guess i expect a little more from the sports dept.
 
Well the roster finally came out today and a couple of surprises for me. I thought Balysky was out for this season but is listed. Noel Accairi the local kid is not listed. Does anyone know what is up with him?

Michael Pieper was a name I had not heard before - I guess he may be a walk on. I think I had heard that a incoming freshman was having issues getting eligible - maybe it was Accairi. I hope he can join the roster soon.

I don't see the UNH game listed for 1/11 on the schedule.....should it be 2/4 ?????
Schedule has no home game on 1/11

Thanks to Brown hockey coming back. I just might attend.
Whats up with the exteded area in front of the press box? Looks like a few very bad obstructed seats. Not theat they could find another seat though.
 
The Unh game was moved from Dec 10th to January 11th..it is on the schedule at Friars.com

Providence will host the 2013 NCAA East Regionals at the dunk March 29-31

Friar's opener against Bu will be on NESN
