Providence College on the road to Tampa

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

Todays ProJo Mark reports that Walman will play tonight......that should put a happy face on Friar fans

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

paid to watch on the BC network. The way they're playing, PC might be able to beat AIC tonight, though I'm not sure.

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

BC 3-1. No rebound from the Brown game. BC totally controlling the play and Ellis looks shaky.

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

Been saying all year Hawkey deserved some time between the pipes...Leaman continues to ride one goalie and with Gillies, his Jan. Was always awful. Could it be that Ellis is wearing down?

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

Tough one to figure. With BC's goalie playing his first game, with Walman back, and coming off a bad loss to Brown, it was surprising to see PC come out so flat and stay that way all game. No clue what to expect tomorrow, but they need two points this weekend.

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

We will see what the team is made of after Saturdays game......they must play better and a win would be sweet but the caliber of play is very important.....I agree a second goalie would be great but I wonder if now is the right time it could mess up Ellis' confidence

I am questioning the decision to start Ellis against Brown twice, did he start either of the Colgate games (I know he came in relief) and nothing against Merrimack. Just questionable

Hawkey played the third period game one at Colgate and started and won the second game

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

PC took 23 shots in the first period for a 3-1 lead, now they have to keep the pressure on, go for 20 shots more in each remaining period......no defensive retreat

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

PC up 4-3. Hearing way too much about the refs this weekend.

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

PC played the OT like they were looking for the locker room......no doubt about who is number one in Hockey East and it is not PC......time to wake up and stop reading the standings.....no kill instinct
