Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

Maybe Army kicked over the water cooler after the 1st period...PC actually outshot them 22-5...so it's either the end of the season or a Conte Forum Slaughter next weekend. Your choice! lol.

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

Even the Umass radio guys laughing at PC's first Hockey East win since November 5th.

Of course, how good are they when they need a point to finish ahead of the Friars lol...

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

UMass trying to snatch a defeat out of the jaws of victory so there may still be hope!!! The Eagles are scared stiff and listening to their radios in the locker room @ Conte PRAYING for UMass to pull this game out!!!

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

3 straight years of no playoffs!!! Whoo-hoo!!

There will be a trophy presentation for certain before opening night in October.

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

ughhhhhhh that was such a good game!!!!! so sad the planets didn't line up right.

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

Bang the buckets baby!!! Timmy got the monkey off his back and won a conference game after Jan!!!!!

Wait until next year!!! Army's even promised to teach his son over the summer, how NOT to be a punk who constantly hits from behind.

What a great time to be a fan of PC men's hockey. Thank you Bobby Driscoll for extending this guy. Imagine how badly things could be if we'd lost him to another program????

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

Well things are looking up. Ninth place rather then tenth place.

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

Not many teams can say they won the last game of their season

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

It's pretty clear our teams have set themselves up very nicely to take Hockey East by storm next season.

2011-2012: the season of the Friar and River Hawk.

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

Hey there on the move up one spot from lasr year. Driscoll should give him an extension thru 2020. Then again Army does'nt want it because his kids will be out of the program and would have gotton the free education, so he won't need PC anymore.

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

That was a great game on saturday. The bench players banging the boards with their sticks throughout the game was interesting. Is that armys new secret weapon? maybe we should of been doing that all year. In all seriousness though, it was good to see the little celebration in front of the net after the win. I'm happy the seniors could end with a win.

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

PC has the #2 pick in the draft right?

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

Yes sir! Looking forward to it.

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

pc is down 0-17 against marquette with 14:48 in the half...i think it's safe to say keno is done after this season.

It really looks like the team is trying to take a proactive role in hastening Keno's demise.
