Is this a father figure/son battle

OK. Gotta call BS on you once again there Hoky.

Raise your hand if you believe that Dave Quinn would give Hokydud the time of day. (Que crickets)

I'm sure Quinn was hanging out in your "double-wide" down at the trailer park, shooting the breeze about his future. ;)

Too funny. Make sure you bring the wife her smokes and her scratch tickets on your way back to the Casa. You don't want her slapping you around again.

One could say so in a sense because I'm PC91 and Hokydad!!!!!

More like Peter and Chris Griffin. ;)

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

I think this will be the biggest problem Driscoll will hit....who wants to clean up a train wreck, his only break is he will have a stud in net for his first year and the opposition will be blinded by a fan with purple pants sitting at the glass

Beaudry is in for a treat. The purple pants are gone. I've traded them in for a pair of MC Hammer pants that I just bought on ebay.

Did you give them to Goodwill so we may see them again strolling around the city

Nope. They are long gone. I hung them on the line to dry and when I came back they were gone. I saw a guy in a red van sniffing them and giggling to himself as he drove off in the direction of the North Shore. I'm sure gonna miss those purple pants....

I'd like to see Coach Cavanaugh, Coach Tremblay then Coach Bavis as coachhere at Providence, in that order. I don't believe that Coach Cavanaugh will leave BC. They have already spoken to Quinn. I;m sure they have already tested the waters with Rick Bennett and will speak to other candidates after Driscoll returns from the Frozen Four.

I wouldn't expect anything for a few more weeks.
I know Bennett's been involved with the UML job as well.

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

I get the impression that if Bennett was on PC's radar, we would know about it and there wouldn't be any talk of UML being interested in him -- or him in the UML job. The fact there are quotes out there on both sides in regards to the latter seems like it's more than posturing.

I might be wrong, but IMO I truly don't get the sense Bennett is the direction PC is heading in. We'll see.

It is tournament time folks. Some of us are moving into Tournament Mode®. Pardon us while we enjoy some good college hockey. :D

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

I am rooting for Pooley's guys. PC should have kept him as coach.

;)

Denver Cup next season will be Providence, Princeton, Miami & DU around Thanksgiving

Thank you for the heads up. I'll be coming out to Denver for the Pats/Broncos game and now this. DU better pray that they don't have to face PC until the championship game! ;)
