Oh well, next Friday is another day. I'm sure the team will bounce back against the Eagles.

Oh, just following the advice of a Monty Python movie..."Always look on the bright side of life..."

I’m saddened to see that the Friars not only lost to Merrimack but have returned to the bottom of the heap again. I think that many of you are right….. the only race we’re winning at this point is the race to 100. Where is Hokydad and his wisdom proclaiming that this program is heading in the right direction?

As for me, my 3rd place adopted team took 3 points away from the #1 team in the country. Now you want to talk about an exciting weekend of hockey!!

That sucked...

2 OT losses is not worth jumping off the Tobin over, especially to UNH and MC at their barn.

But in all honesty, a loss is a loss.

Those are games you have to win

True, but don't be so negative. Next Friday it will be another day and another chance . I expect this team to come out flying against the Eagles.

Let's hope. Stranger things have happened, Scott Brown won

I was more thinking your last couple of posts looked quite similar... ;)

Oh well, tomorrow is another day. I'm sure the team will bounce back against the Mack.

Tim Army Vs. Merrimack - 5 wins in 16 games

-5-6-5 Overall Record

Record over last 3 seasons - 1-4-2

Thats....pretty bad. That may only be a game under .500, but 5 wins in 16 games vs. the perennial last-place team in Hockey East...no offense to our friends there...but that's pretty sad. Someone correct me if my math is wrong.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 What is in the glass?

2000 you missed the big picture.....I think we out-shot them in most games and in total shots taken in all games played in that era so you should apologise for the uncalled for remarks.....winning is not the intent of the new PC hockey program....right dad

You're right satyking, I take it back. :)

Right now PC is 4 points back of Northeastern for the last playoff spot -- but loses the season series to NU.

So the Friars have to make up 5 points the rest of the way, hope the people in front of them keep bombing out, just to make the 8th seed.

It obviously does not look good...btw Umass losing to UVM this afternoon again shows how soft Hockey East is. There's just no bona-fide #3/#4 team in the conference this year, and with BC having some problems, UNH looks like the only team that would have a chance in the NCAAs at this point.

That's all subject to change, of course, because teams can get hot and turn it around, but it's how it looks right now.

Jon we can't be like Coakley she had a lead at one point and chocked, we started out that way and continued all season......but we did win in the primarys (Bowling Green)

Does sarcasm stain?

C'mon, whaddya tallkin about. Everyone is just so negative around here. I little positive thinking is good for all.

You know, rose colored glasses, this might be the year and all that.
