Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

I'm have a feeling Hokymom might be buried out in the back yard.

Hahahahahahaha.

Between hokydad and these UVM fans, we've reached a high level if hilarity quickly on this board this week, haven't we?

PC91 should get his own thread since that is the cool thing to do around here.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

We are playing a team we should beat tonite Northeastern is not a strong team and should be a bottom feeder this year......I still thing PC can be in the playoffs but as a guest not a host.......we have to be more organized than we were on tuesday and develop someone to screen on the power play as we have no team speed and our puck movement is in slow motion and easily defended.......also no more dumb penalties.......the glass should get a few drops added after a weekend sweep.....Saturdays game is on Cox 3 so I will stay home and watch it

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

I thought PC was the section M clown,

I'll thank you to remember that it's LOWER M. I am the Area clown for the barony of lower M.
Not to be confused with the mouthbreathers in Upper M. Upper M'ers wish that they had even a fraction of class of the gentry in Lower M but they do NOT! :p
Even so the Upper M'ers are well above the slopey headed Section E dwellers. I feel like I'm wading through the land of the Morlocks and the Eloy every time I need to get to my seats.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

Actually, youi've always been a puke and a maggot. We just didn't tell you.:p

I feel like a kid who always got a ribbon for soccer over the past eight years only to find out in high school that I REALLY suck!:o :o :o

None of you did me any favors.

UVM fans are ok with me. I can go back and forth with jcarter all day long. He' s a poster who is busting stones. I can appreciate that.

I can only think of one other poster in all the time that I've been on USCHO that I thought was a total tool and he was one of PC's own, supposedly.
Then came the grand daddy of them all. Hokydad.

Hokydad is just a dope who posts, then posts again contradicting his own original posts, then calls names (when he's busted as a fraud). He knows, as we all do, that he will never have the balls to say ANYTHING to you in person because he's only a tough guy on the internet.
Despite his claims to be in the know and a party to every secret deal and donor list.   Just like the turf fields that Malden Catholic got because of one guy even though the fields were installed BEFORE that time, etc.
He's been exposed as a fraud and a moron on almost every point that he's made on EVERY thread he's trolled but he keeps on trolling.
I really do think that he's illiterate. :(
I would love Hokydad to take me up on my offer to come talk to me the next time the Mack comes to Providence but he won't because he's a yssup. If he were a real man then he wouldn't hide behind his computer to call people names, would he?

At this point I can only hope to get my own thread one day. I'd like it to be callled "Send In the Area Clowns" :p :p :p
Until that time, I'm just a punk AND a maggot.:D

Agreed SK.
PC needs to have a good showing against NU. They are not having the year, so far, like the ones that we've come to expect from the Huskies over the past few seasons so PC has to make hay when the sun is shining.
I'm going to the game tonight and expect to go tomorrow night. I'd like to see a better effort than the one turned in the other night against Brown. Dumb penalties have become the Friars m.o. over the past several seasons. It's got to stop because it's going to kill them in the end. The Friars are not good enough yet to be giving the opposition advantages, especially HE teams. We'll see if they can get a better handle on this area of concern starting tonight.
Here's to what should be a productive weeknd for the Friars.:)

I'm not sure PC is at the stage where they "should" beat most teams in conference, even a disappointing NE team. The fact though is that it's still November. BU has had a bad start also but there's a long, long way to go and teams can turn it around in a hurry. PC has had a nice start here but I still think there are questions as to what kind of team this really is.

This is an interesting test for the Friars to see where they're at, just as the next few weekends are going to be. Clearly they are far more important than beating Bruno and Bowling Green, and getting off to a good start at NU tonight would be the way to go.

I am not saying we should beat most of the teams in HE just this one and maybe one other, the rest we will see about as the year goes on. They must put out a good effort the entire weekend and run when the road is open to them, these are the same points that they will need at the end of the season

That logic only works if you are a home ice type team in the Hockey East. Basically you saying that PC is the third worst team ahead NU and I assume Merrimack (It sure isn't BU regardless of their poor start). If you are the third worst team, you should not look at it like you should beat any team. Thats like saying that Maine or Merrimack should have beaten PC every time they faced them last year. There is too much parity in college hockey, and the HE in particular. It would be equally ridiculous for an NU fan to say they should win the games this weekend.

I haven't seen anyone sit in upper M for at least 10 years. :p

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

2-0 Northeastern after 2....PC playing worse than they did on Tuesday....can't move the puck at all.....ice the puck - ice the puck can't make a pass or get a real shot on net.....season is getting longer.....glass has a crack in it

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

4-1 Northeastern we do suck.....the best we can get is a split and that is not good enough.....basic hockey is missing from this team and Army can't seem to teach it

You sound surprised. This team came in dead last a year ago. They were picked...what...next-to-last this year. 1-3 now in conference and being outscored by a 2-1 margin in those games -- that's more like reality.

I was wearing Jons rose colored glasses and had hopes they had improved but alas, I was wrong....there will be no parade on Admiral Street this year or any year soon......the glass has but a drop or two left in it......great job by the hockey guy locking up this coaching and recruiting staff

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

I saw tonight going differently. :o

Cream puffs are in the past, 1-3 in HE. At least we started strong so we've got that going for us.
