Re: Professional Wrestling Thread: Sign It Before The Stock Plummets Some More

Can't go heel. Too much $$$ and public goodwill on the table from the kiddos. Even the smarks have come to terms with him (hey, it's not his fault he's booked as a megaface cash cow, and he's doing good things.)

I'm thinking drop to the upper midcard and help get guys like Wyatt over.

Kind of a shame his career has to go toilet because he's stuck. Crowd booed him fiercely last night.

I thought Raw was awesome. I'm glad the British fans were there...otherwise I feel like Bad News Barrett and Paige (who are both awesome) would have been met with a popcorn fart.
I like Paige but I've always thought Barrett was a d.

I'm not really looking forward to stuff now. It seems it'll basically be Evolution plus Kane versus DBD and The Shield. I'd be more interested if Punk was around but he's not so meh.

Speaking of Paige...why hasn't she gotten a bump? She seems to be the best technical wrestler out the "new-age" divas yet Summer Rae (who is obviously the most easy on the eyes and maybe I'm answering my own question) has gotten a bump and even Emma has made Raw appearances yet I don't believe Paige has made one yet?

She got a bump last night. AJ went over for her and Paige has the title. Crowd went crazy.

Probably a hoax, but it's being reported Ultimate Warrior is dead.

Re: Professional Wrestling Thread: Sign It Before The Stock Plummets Some More

It's very common for people about to commit suicide to appear happier/at peace because they've made up their mind and the burden of their situation is (about to be) off their shoulders. Let's hope that's not the case here.

That is what I am thinking. WWE and he parted....he went nuts, now with HOF and appearance, he was "home." Go out on top, you know?

It makes sense. I listened back to his promo from last night and it's so eerie.

Re: Professional Wrestling Thread: Sign It Before The Stock Plummets Some More

According to TMZ he was walking to his car with his Wife and collapsed.

Re: Professional Wrestling Thread: Sign It Before The Stock Plummets Some More

Sounding like he knew he didn't have long. Glad he was able to make his peace with WWE and have one last moment with the fans.

Re: Professional Wrestling Thread: Sign It Before The Stock Plummets Some More

Per LOLDIRTSHEETS, it was Vince who made the call to break tStreak. Vince figured this was Taker's last match, said Taker could either win or lose but recommended losing, and Taker went along with it.

Re: Professional Wrestling Thread: Sign It Before The Stock Plummets Some More

Drew McIntyre jobbed to a midget in a bull costume. I am sad.

Re: Professional Wrestling Thread: Sign It Before The Stock Plummets Some More

Does this seem beneath a guy like Mick Foley, or am I just underestimating how depressing the post-career life of a pro wrestler (even a really famous and successful one) really is?

http://northwoodsleague.com/green-b...e-hall-of-famer-mick-foley-for-opening-night/

To note: On one hand, there is a WWE event in Green Bay in a few weeks. On the other hand, the Bullfrogs are lucky if they draw 1000 fans a game.
