WWE, relationship storylines worse than twilight.

Now it's time for Goldberg mark .5

Re: Professional Wrestling Thread: Sign It Before The Stock Plummets Some More

So does everyone wanna know how Over the Limit will end? First of all, WWE overbooked the John Cena-Johnny Ace match so badly that the match can only end one of 3 ways.

1. Cena wins, but there is some sort of fine print in the contract allowing Ace to keep his job.
2. Ace beats Cena clean...a month after Cena went over BROCK LESNAR.

Now the third choice is where it gets interesting. One stipulation is that if anyone interferes in the match, they'll be fired. So guess what. Someone who doesn't work there will interfere. And who was recently "fired" and will be looking to get back on the roster at any cost?

That's right. Big Show turns heel and helps Johnny Ace beat John Cena in order to get his job back.

I'd bet my life savings on the above happening. Its pretty much guaranteed. Now we get to have yet another Cena-Big Show fued. Fanfarkingtastic.

Punk/DBD: Match Of The Year candidate.

And this feud might not be done. If they book an Ironman match I'll be so happy I'll poop in a Coke bottle and hand it to a homeless person.

See what happens, Vince? See what happens when you stop trying to put one over on the fans at all costs and let your talent do its work and let the fans drive the atmosphere?

What feud? Bryan was feuding with Sheamus to get his belt back after he got buried at WM. That's the perfect setup for a long term, very nasty feud. Rock/Cena had more of a feud running into WM than these two.

If this was actually Vince listening to what some vocal people wanted then this is why wrestling blows now. Short term, wet dream matches for fans with even shorter memories when they are supposed to be telling a long term story. And before the usual happens, I don't give a **** if they had the best match ever or the worst. If all you have are PPVs, quality of the matches is the top concern. That's fine but WWE is a twice weekly thing with a tiny *** roster that is currently getting juggled around too much trying to satisfy fans when it should be just telling the story and letting fans pick which portion of it they like. Then depending on that you shift around the spotlight to highlight the bigger stars.

So wait a sec...if Funkman re-hired Show on Saturday, that means he was an employee when he interfered at Over The Limit, which means he should be fired again.

Oh wow. Y2J suspended indefinitely for desecrating a Brazilian flag in Sao Paulo.

He better head for the Dick Cheney Memorial Undisclosed Location. I have a sinking feeling some citizens of Brazil don't take very kindly to that sort of thing.

ETA: Looks like they already rushed him out of the country.

Not enough, since it can probably be applied to the entire raw show tonight.

They ignored half of the arena with the big banner plugging the new video game. Well at least they can watch the Turnertron.

Can Eve please get back to wrestling? cripes...I liked it when she turned heel and now she's wasted with the Laurinitus story line.

As a female in the WWE, nothing she can ever do will matter in the slightest.

Oh look AJ is back. Joy.

Re: Professional Wrestling Thread: Sign It Before The Stock Plummets Some More

I love AJ. I'd rather gawk at her than watch another John Cena propaganda video.

Was I drunk, or did Brodus actually sell getting hit with Big Show's t-shirt?
