Re: Professional Wrestling Thread: Sign It Before The Stock Plummets Some More

Some people on Twitter were saying Cena BROKE HIS ARM and still won. Dunno if his shoulder injury is real or kayfabe.

The way WWE's hyping it online I'm gonna say it's a work.

Another random thought: are they ever gonna let Miz out of the doghouse, or are we going to see him on an episode of Impact some day?

Re: Professional Wrestling Thread: Sign It Before The Stock Plummets Some More

Oh God not him again.

And of course. Bork Laser vs. Trips at Over The Limit.

Sad part is this is probably senile Vince saying "Fine, the smarks want to play hardball...I can do that too. Split them up and make them choose between their darlings."

I hope they go 60 minutes and it's a Match of the Year candidate. That's the only thing that will show him.

Of course, once it catches on Vince will spend the next 3 weeks trying to get CM Punk to force feed DB a steak or something.

From PWInsider via Fark:

PWInsider reports that Brock Lesnar threw a tirade backstage after the Extreme Rules PPV on Sunday. Lesnar apparently ripped apart his dressing room and went off on several WWE officials after getting upset over John Cena's PPV-closing promo.

The original plan for the match was for Cena to win but to be beaten so badly that he had to be carried out of the building, making Lesnar look stronger and making it seem as if Cena won the battle, but Lesnar won the war. Instead, Cena cut a promo to the crowd and Lesnar viewed it as Cena double crossing him.

Obviously WWE officials were able to calm him down, as he worked RAW last night and did the planned Triple H angle as a way to get him off TV for now.

Apparently Lesnar's current deal only requires him to work a minimum of two dates.

Foxton is committing hari kari somewhere at that news.
A few things, first is that the title holds about as much prestige as the tag team titles at the moment. Only thing it signifies is the the company shows more of the person. Considering my loathing of Punk is less than Bryan and there's no way Bryan actually wins it, it's a non-event. There's going to be no "IT WAS ME AUSTIN" moment, and Bryan has been losing to the 'lesser' wrestler, so why would he succeed?

I can't wait for more awkward promos between the two. If there are any. What are they going to argue about? "Grr I'm straight edge, *angry emo simmer*" vs. "I get sick if I have beef broth, YES YES!".

Only thing more predictable is how fans of the two will rave about whatever they do.

You probably thought Kane vs. Khali was a 5 star match. :D

So who do you like to watch? Kingston? Sheamus? Miz?

Hmmm.... Vickie.

Actually I find most of them bland and one dimensional. Not so much because they're bad but because the storylines they are being put in are ****.

Oh I completely agree. That's why only the guys who are strong in the ring (Punk, Bryan, etc) are interesting to me. This whole bullcrap about Jericho trying to get Punk to drink totally ruined the storyline for me. Why can't two guys just fight over the championship to see who's better?

Re: Professional Wrestling Thread: Sign It Before The Stock Plummets Some More

Oh ****.

Paul Heyman's back.

Re: Professional Wrestling Thread: Sign It Before The Stock Plummets Some More

John Cena is about to no-sell his marriage.
