Rumor from the weekend is that st Norbert will be the fourth team next year. Has anyone else heard of anything different? Or am I oblivious and another team is already chosen?

UW-Superior will be the team. (Currently in the same conference as St. Norbert, although that will be changing soon)

Actually, St. Norbert played Superior seven times that year - with Bloody Sunday being Game 7 (the series was 2-2-2 going into that one).
St. Norbert played UW-Stevens Point eight times in 1997-98, including the last four games of the season. St. Norbert won the series 5-3 but UWSP won the mini-game in the quarterfinals.

Gotta love the hockey rink rumor mill! Superior somehow turned into St. Norbert. Haha.
Someone probably said something along the lines of I saw on that uscho chat board that St. Norbert is being talked about as the fourth team for next year and then it became a its definitely happening as it went on down the chain. Or someone took SNC coming out to Oswego's tourney next year to SNC being the 4th PrimeLink team.
I will say that there is precedent out there with Oswego that SNC will gladly travel East as long as they get a return trip. They will have done it twice with Oswego after next season with SNC coming to the Pathfinder bank as then Oswego returning the trip in 2014-15.

If you are itching to see St. Norbert play east this season (other than in Lake Placid) then find your way to Oswego's Campus Center January 5 and 6 when they play the Oswego State Lakers....yeah, its the women's teams, but it should be some great hockey....

We have this little thing called the Northfield Savings Bank Tournament that weekend...
If you are itching to see St. Norbert play east this season (other than in Lake Placid) then find your way to Oswego's Campus Center January 5 and 6 when they play the Oswego State Lakers....yeah, its the women's teams, but it should be some great hockey....

Fredonia State (1999 away, 2000 home)
Middlebury (2000 away, 2001 home)

I think UW-Stevens Point returned that trip. Middlebury and Norwich each played one game at St. Norbert and UWSP in December 2000.

UWSP was out here the year before, then NU and Midd went west. I remember flying into Milwaukee and driving up, seeing the Packers Hall of Fameand Point beer. Was a great trip!
