Primelink shootout 2012

Re: Primelink shootout 2012

Anyone else disappointed with the quality of the video from the championship Primelink game. Way too much back and forth movement with little focus and then close ups without the puck being seen. I don't think it is the NSN crew manning the cameras.I watched previous games at Kreitzberg with much higher quality.

It was a Plattsburgh student production per arrangement between PSU and Primelink.

I blanked out their audio and listened to DEV. Whenever somebody buffered, I'd reload. It was only an issue part way through the second.

What a game - I do wish we'd had professional video instead, but we did see the winning goal clearly

Agree on the coverage - not fitting for the game tonight - Cadets come back from 4-2 to win 5-4...helluva game.

EDIT: I regret my earlier remark about the coverage... Upon reflection overnight, I commend their efforts and enthusiasm.

Yes we did, and it was amazing, as is the Mulvay line. They scored 4 out of the 5 goals.I just love watching this team play, they never give up:D

Also, Colin has scored at least one goal in 5 out of the 7 games played this season and had assists in the other two games. He scored 4 game winning goals and leads the team offensively with14 points, an average of 2 points per game. Way to go Mulvey:D

That one goes down as a classic win. I imagine Krietzberg was in chaos at the end (in a good way :D)

Exciting game played tonight between Middlebury & Norwich. Middlebury let this one slip away tonight. Can’t wait for the rematch between these two teams at Chip Kenyon Arena on Jan 8th. I went on line and purchased my tickets when I got home from the Primelink. Go Wick

Looks like Middlebury is back! This is going to be a great playoff season with the parity in the East

Re: Primelink shootout 2012

watched most of the Primelink and it was as I thought a GREAT tourny, all teams represented well and the Cadets pulled it out in the end, could only wish Oswegos tourny was half as good as this......its very conceivable that all 4 teams make the NCAAS...nice job on the video as well

WCAX TV 3 interviews of the Primelink games on Saturday. WCAX also has an excellent interview with the coaches which gives a lot of insight into recruiting in D3.

Of all the teams Middlebury was the one that suprised me with there play this year. Looks they will be a force again in Eastern hockey.

The addition of SNC to next season's Oswego tourny should improve the quality of competition.
Any idea who the other two teams will be?

Re: Primelink shootout 2012

Oswego:D...they ARE west

I do love seeing these Western Teams--simply because they come to play strong in your face hockey. They know what the Primelink is all about in DIII and they always step up and represent the west very well. I also love seeing how NU stands up to two of the most consistently great programs in the East--Plattsburg and Middlebury. But wouldn't it be great to have Oswego just once? :)

Emery's always been against another SUNYAC team in the tournament... why would you want to play a team three times in a regular season?
