Primelink shootout 2012

Re: Primelink shootout 2012

Turkey day was ok, but what I've been waiting for is the next two days! There's no doubt that win or lose it will be great hockey. Can't wait for the puck to drop!

I'll be driving from New Orleans back to Colorado, is there anyway i can stream the games on my phone? (girlfriend will be driving during the games so i can watch)

You should be able to get the audio from WDEV, which will carry all 4 games. Don't know if you can get the video stream or not.

Get the TuneIn app. WIRY & WDEV are some of the stations they stream (plus WNYO).

I would not rely on video from cell phone towers.

PrimeLink Meet and Greet at the Knotty Shamrock tonight following the Norwich/St. Thomas game?

I've got to wrap up my SID duties here but I could make it by about 10 if anyone is up for it.

Re: Primelink shootout 2012

If St. Thomas can skate with Norwich and bang bodies, they stand a chance. If not, 4:00 PM Saturday.

I think that the Tommies will skate right with Norwich....they have a quick group of forwards.....wonder if they can play enough defense to keep it close...

Re: Primelink shootout 2012

Just clicked on the link to the video for the Primelink (I'm being anxious, of course), and it took me to NSN - which is awesome - even if the audio isn't George and Tanner, I can mute the audio and try to synch - it just means that there is going to be a lot less likelihood that the video becomes bufferific like it has in the past when it was done by Primelink on their own resources. I guess this is because Plattsburgh now has a deal with NSN.

Re: Primelink shootout 2012

Day one complete. Two great games, both ending 3-2. We'll see Norwich and Middlebury in the final at 7:00 PM, with Plattsburgh and St. Thomas in the consulation game at 4:00PM, tomorrow.

Re: Primelink shootout 2012

My only media problems from my Colorado outpost came from the fact that during the first game the camera crew wouldn't show the time clock at all, and during the second game they would focus on the clock while there was action on the ice. Fortunately, I found it was very easy to keep the WDEV feed and the video feed right in synch. When one would buffer, I would just reload both as soon as there was a stoppage, and all was well.

What an awesome tourney. I am so jealous of anyone that gets to watch these four games in person!

Re: Primelink shootout 2012

144th meeting of THE GAME tonight at Kreitzberg at 7 pm between Middlebury and Norwich.

Although Middlebury leads the all-time series 80-56-7, Norwich is 7-2-1 against the Panthers in the last 10, including shutouts in 2 of the last 3 meetings.

NU won last year's lone meeting 5-0 scoring four goals in the first period along with Chris Czarnota recording a shutout in goal.

Middlebury's last win came on Feb. 7, 2009 with a 4-2 win. The Panthers won both meetings during the 2008-09 season as Midd also scored a 3-2 win over Norwich in the PrimeLink ShootOut finals earlier in the season at the Chip Kenyon Arena.
