Re: POTUS: It Can Happen Here Again

Marco Rubio says “hold my beer”

I other words the GOP is reserving the right to impeach a democrat for less

Beautiful. There it is. God forbid they ever get control again in the House with a Democrat in the White House.

Holy ****. I think I'm having a stroke. Because I couldn't have read that correctly.

You did.

When Hovey answered my earlier comment, it was certainly well thought out but wasn’t actually what I was referencing. I am more curious why more conservatives aren’t saying it’s wrong what trump did. Why quid pro quo’s and everything else he’s doing is wrong. We have a few on here who I know don’t like trump but they’re pretty silent on the things he actually does. Which, I guess, in my mind is separate from impeachment trial but i wasn’t clear

Re: POTUS: It Can Happen Here Again

Basically what it comes down to is this is just another thing they can say wait for the election. Which means elections matter. Which means, wake the **** UP Democrats and start voting instead of sitting your butt hurt *** down on the couch on election day.

Re: POTUS: It Can Happen Here Again

So Since Romney said “**** you mitch, I’m voting for witnesses” Moscow Mitch could only let one of Collins or Murkowski vote for witnesses. I guess this means they think Susan needed this more.

I don’t think this saves Susan.

Re: POTUS: It Can Happen Here Again

Because of course.

“ BREAKING: The Environmental Protection Agency has re-approved a chemical used in Bayer's Roundup weed killer, claiming it doesn’t pose a danger to humans despite thousands of lawsuits from farmers attributing cancer to the common herbicide.”

This is very good news. We need to get the safeties removed from guns, too.

Some people need to understand this.

Head shaking serious columnists. If the GOP is ever in the position to remove a Dem from office they will do so. Ever since Garland we've known they removed their last scintilla of democratic principle.

We're in bed with a psychopath. Our choices are a no contact order and a safe divorce, have him hauled away to prison, or poison him.

I recommend the latter. It's the only way to be sure.

I don’t see how this helps Murkowski. She’s already hated by the far right of the party and has now alienated her one solid group of support. Plus, she’s now almost guaranteed a worthy Dem challenger in 2022.

It’s just that Susan needed it more. If Mitt had been a good boy both Susan and Lisa would have been allowed to break rank.

Looking at the map, it’s bad long term thinking with the Republicans pretty much on defense everywhere in that election, adding a fight in Alaska is not a great idea.

Will it be a serious challenge? I thought the only way the good guys ever have a chance in AK is if the GOP primary loser runs as an Indy and we have a three-way.

Does Alaska actually have a chance to be purple, or would she just get primary’d?
