It's OK. It's not like this is an important time to be close to our Western allies. It's not like Russia and China opened up a huge gas pipeline between them today or anything.

I'm guessing, one, cause he was late because of some press thing Donnie chose to do before their meeting, and during that press thing or the meeting, Dimwit Donnie said something so stupid, or totally counter to US policy, that it just dumbfounded the entire US delegation.
