Wait, weren't we just told the opposite with Hillary? To not ignore the corporate backing her staff gained experience through? I'm so confused.

Not really. NBC News finally straightened out their sh** and their daytime programming is terrible. Might as well lock up a good news talent and what's the worst that happens, Univision passes NBC for daytime?

I don't recall hearing anything of the sort. Obviously if you want to be vigilant and look into it, that's a very good thing. Guilt by association is one of the causes of several issues we have today.

Is it NBC who has basically fallen out of the race and been replaced by Fox in the Big Three? I haven't watched network news or network programming for so long I just don't know. The last nightly news broadcast I saw was Dan Rather before he imploded so that's, what, 20 years ago?

Have ABC and CBS even been relevant lately when it comes to primetime? Granted, they're saying she'll go to daytime (assuming the main network and not MSNBC), but last I checked, NBC was still fairly relevant.

If she's going daytime, either NBC is now creating a daytime news show around her or they're trying to expand the number of affiliates willing to carry the network broadcast. Since I'm not home weekdays, I don't know what's airing these days between 7:00AM and 6:00PM.

No, she's getting her own show. Hell, maybe she'll take over for Chuck Todd and do Meet the Press eventually. For now she's getting a daytime news show on NBC, and she will be involved in any big political stuff on NBC. My guess is she won't be much on MSNBC.

This would make sense. She's trying to go legit and that would cement it.

Only thing is, when would the show happen? Major networks have lost out quite a bit due to local access (whether syndication, local news, etc.), and going to weekends would seem like a relegation.

One thing that is true, though, is there's still some time left on her FOX contract. I'm assuming that will be honored...

The head of the Heritage Foundation went on CNN this morning and referred to the Congressional Budget Office as a purveyor of "fake news".
