POTUS Elect Trump II: We Are So Totally F%*#ed

Re: POTUS Elect Trump II: We Are So Totally F%*#ed

Booker is scum. And those 13 Democrats are Republicans in disguise.

He's a politician. You represent your local constituency. When you become president, you constituency is the whole country but for now he's protecting his local industry. Gillenbrand, who I lurve, did something very similar in NY with I forget what. Feinstein did it for tuna fishers. And Schumer never met a financial services corporation he didn't want to fellate.

One can only hope when they run for national office those sectional interests are no longer as pressing (this is in fact what the Federalist argued as the virtue for a presidency). But nobody is so pure as to tell their local biz interest to f-ck off. Even Bernie cuts breaks for VT industries.

If you can point out a time you disagreed with Bernie Sanders, except for maybe the time you requested a nude autographed picture of him and he filed a restraining order against you instead, I'd love to hear it.

I'm sure there are some but that's completely beside the point. The question is can you support somebody you don't agree with 100%, not would you support someone you do agree with 100%. The former is the crux of your specious argument against liberals. The latter is nonsensical. I do wish you'd make an attempt to be coherent.

I disagree. He's a Senator. I guarantee you more citizens in New Jersey are being hurt by Pharma then helped. New Jersey is a Big State. Same with New York and Schumer. This is straight pandering to lobbyists.

I'd like to see the Bernie examples.

She slaughtered tD in California. I think it ended up 2 to 1.

Thanks...whats your point?

I am not arguing she won, I am arguing that it was Millenials that had anything to do with why she lost even they polled heavy for her.

I think that is a fair argument. One of the problems with money in politics is dollars > humans. I have a solution for that, and it doesn't even require the mass slaughter of the rich, though that is of course an option.

Re: POTUS Elect Trump II: We Are So Totally F%*#ed

People saying Warren should run in 2020 are tone deaf.

That's not true. After all, Warren is Clinton plus a hate-on for Wall Street and minus all the Clinton baggage. This time around for instance she'd have destroyed Trump.

The problem though is we don't want someone so old. Warren serves us best as the sharp end of the spear in the Senate. If/when we get back a majority and the WH she can lead the effort to cut the bull's balls off and return balance to Main Street.

We need youth up and down the roster. Warren and Sanders are great Americans, but they are moving towards the "symbolism" end of their public careers.

Alright, I'll bite. Why?

Old, sassy, white, female, East coaster. It didn't play to Flyover Country in 2016, and it won't play in 2020.

She'll be older than Hillary was in 2020. She's better in the Senate anyway.

Democrats need another minority candidate.

That's cute to want to believe that, but she'd have been buried alive under an avalanche of racist derogatory names by Trump.

You want to repeal a law put into place because people were being seriously harmed just so you can save a few bucks? Who is the Republican in disguise in this scenario?

Luckily...

Seriously, the GOP better start smearing her now if they want to even stand a chance.

Prove it. I don't buy that argument for a minute.

If you "lurve" her so much, you'd know her name is spelled wrong. ;) :D

As I recall, she's Native American. :D
