Ok, so HRC apparently handled her email in a fashion that (according to numbers you believe to be accurate) a decent sector of the electorate felt was shady. The Russians told us about that. So, I should be mad at the Russians?

Edit: Let me ask it in another way. If the Russians leak a bunch of emails showing Trump taking bribes while in office, you guys going to go all freaky again on Russian spying?

I wont answer for others but I would not like that. If that info comes up in the course of legitimate research that is one thing...but a foreign power doing? No I do not agree with that...

The biggest reveal in the piece was that the Obama administration became so convinced by the intelligence community consensus about the Russian involvement that it directed top intelligence officials to brief a bipartisan assembly of Congressional leaders in September, with the aim of generating support for a bipartisan statement about the intrusion into US politics. But McConnell blocked it.

That sounds like good government, League of Women Voters kind of stuff, right? And according to the Post, at least some Republicans were willing to consider it. But McConnell said no, warning “that he would consider any effort by the White House to challenge the Russians publicly an act of partisan politics.”

And what did Mitch get for his efforts? Oh, maybe a cushy administration position for the little missus after helping the Donald hush up this bit of news. Oh, but now he's all for looking into it, because, you know, the integrity of our electoral process.

And what about those reports before the election that the Russian higher-ups were in contact with the Trump campaign itself? Nah, we can't believe the CIA when it says there's evidence of the Russians helping get Donald elected. Donald says so.

2016 was a missed opportunity: Bernie would have beaten the Tangerine Turd easily. But good lord 2020 will be an open nomination among the Democrats and conservatives should pray it's someone as moderate as Bernie. After what Trump and the GOP are about to unleash on the US, Karl Marx himself will be an odds-on favorite in 2020. Trump is the anthropomorphic manifestation of capitalism destroying itself, in a literal guise that anyone can understand.

Read the last paragraph of the story. The Headline is misleading and wrong and so is your headline.

OneVoice had been politically active in Israel’s 2013 elections, which should have been a red flag to U.S. officials to put strict controls on how American taxpayers’ money was spent, the investigation said.

You know this would resonate from me if the government actually spent any time, you know, governing. They never solve problems. The right has been one big cock block to progress on anything for over 30 years. Hell, there are even some lefties who stand in the way.

They just don't do anything. Some of them try, but the majority just want the big paycheck from the lobbyist. Tim Pawlenty being able to cash out (this is one reference I know well) just being Governor of Minnesota and running an epic fail Presidential Campaign is more proof in the pudding then I can take.

Former acting director of the CIA comments on the Russian hack.

The first is, we need to see this for what it is. It is an attack on our very democracy. It’s an attack on who we are as a people. A foreign government messing around in our elections is, I think, an existential threat to our way of life. To me, and this is to me not an overstatement, this is the political equivalent of 9/11. It is huge and the fact that it hasn’t gotten more attention from the Obama Administration, Congress, and the mainstream media, is just shocking to me.

Even Trump supporters should be able to stand behind this statement. Somehow, I don't think they will. Hovey's already shown he won't.
