Re: POTUS 46:24 - Donald Trump! Superstar!!

That there are people out there like flaggy who think trump's administration is one of the most transparent in years is truly frightening. There aren't words to sufficiently describe how divorced from reality one needs to be to believe something like that...:( I don't know if I should feel sorry for him or I should be trying to drive him and people who think like him back underground where they don't need to poison the well anymore than they already are. trump is not the one divorced from reality. Until and unless the Russians decide he has outlived (literally) his usefulness to them, he's just going to keep profiting from his new job. The ones divorced from reality are the flaggys of the world. To borrow a word I've seen trump tweet time and again, sad. Sad.

He's not divorced from reality.

Flag is an Internet troll who votes predominately with his wallet. The kind of loon who posts Alex Jones' crap here to get a reaction from the libs because that's how he works out his sexual frustrations or something. Mainly he believes that all taxation is theft and everything should be privatized and legalized. "#$$*( you, I've got mine." Flag's that upper-middle class Twit of the Year you knew in college, usually a CS or engineering major, who spent his free time trading stocks and reading Ayn Rand, Milton Friedman, and Peter Lynch. He's good with numbers and was smart enough to get a real job upon graduation, but still hasn't grown up emotionally.

Is this stuff really helping relations with the Muslim World? Shouldn't that be a goal. Yeah, I'm sick of fighting their wars, and let's get the hell out but I do believe in refugee's and the humanitarian side and I do believe in the first amendment and immigration. You know, Statue of Liberty, etc.

As for Joe Scarborough he'll have no problem defending himself.

Scooby see the 41 Muslim state pact recently agreed to on fighting terrorist?

Mookie thinks stuff like this that tD does in a way riles up commoners in the ME then gives the Amir folks excuses to crack down.

THIS is the “smart” plans you thought were present in using the Jackson portrait

In that case why do people ever change their mind? Politicians' popularity ratings do rise and fall.

Maybe this statistic is smoothed and played with so much it became irrelevant
Could be best to ignore until it matters (election days)

An industry as useful as Y2K :)

I'm of the opinion that Trump' s too stupid to realize the connection, thought the portrait of his favorite president was pretty, and plowed through the media gathering like a Kennedy does an open bar.

And no one on his staff has a set of brass ones large enough to even attempt to say no to Trump. They're all a bunch of yes men.

Re: POTUS 46:24 - Donald Trump! Superstar!!

Trump tells May to mind her own business and throws in a heavy dash of Islamophobia...after he sticks his nose in the UK's business by re-Tweeting sh*t their far-right nutters say.

Gotta love this clown. Putin's getting his wish, driving a wedge between the UK and US.

This is the most plausible, yup

Yeah, he's too stupid to include racism in everything. That's why it's in everything. I don't buy it. This is all on purpose. Including the videos he retweeted yesterday. We need to start figuring out what the over/under is for war with North Korea and how long it takes for the bombs to start flying.

I'd say 75% chance of war and the stuff starts flying by January.

It's obvious that Trump has a huge self denial capacity, but I wonder if the risk of him doing something catastrophically stupid and dangerous depends on how serious a threat to his presidency the Mueller investigation is. Trump and his people obviously know more about that than we do, and he is not beyond getting into a military conflict that has nuclear implications for the sole and only purpose of serving his own ego.

Re: POTUS 46:24 - Donald Trump! Superstar!!

As the tax bill comes up for a vote, plunging us all into the abyss, the National Disgrace is about to rearrange his deck chairs.

The White House has developed a plan to push Secretary of State Rex Tillerson out of his post at the State Department and replace him with current CIA Director Mike Pompeo within the next several weeks, The New York Times reported Thursday.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) would reportedly replace Pompeo as head of the CIA. Cotton has signaled he would accept the job, according to White House officials who spoke to the Times on condition of anonymity.

The plan to oust Tillerson was orchestrated by President Donald Trump’s chief of staff John Kelly, but it was not clear whether Trump plans to approve the shakeup, according to the Times.

If all goes according to Kelly’s plan, the transition could take place around the New Year, making Tillerson’s post in the State Department the shortest tenure ever served by a secretary of state — who didn’t leave because of the election of a new president — in almost 120 years.

That's what happens when you call a moron a moron.

He did it because right now Tax Reform doesnt have the votes. (which is why it is Thursday and they havent voted yet despite this being the week they wanted to do it) He is deflecting just like he did with Health Care.

Right now it is 3 to 1 against War. The numbers shift towards War more as we hit midterms and if there is a Dem wave as expected betting on War will be like betting on Golden State to win the NBA Title.

This is ridiculous. I mean this isnt even funny anymore you cant just keep replacing everyone every 6 months even in the business world you will crap the bed under those changes.

Well duh, people wanted change. Out with gov, in with the super successful ceo who tells people “you’re fired” after you anger him.

We will see. They voted to push the bill forward but too many GOPers are asking too many questions for there not to be problems with the overall vote. (Corker and Ron Johnson being the two latest along with Collins and Murkowski who are not "Yes" yet)

The problems are the same as Health Care...ever concession they make ticks off the other caucus. For example Corker wants to add the automatic tax increase if the economy tanks like every expert says it will. With that part of the bill others wont vote for it. To quote CNN:

"I am not too keen on automatic tax increases," Sen. John Kennedy, a Republican from Louisiana, told reporters, noting that he was listening to what the final proposal was. "Right now, my feeling about it is, I'd rather drink weed killer than vote for the thing."

"I think that the concern is well-intentioned, but I don't know that it's well founded," Sen. Thom Tillis, a Republican from North Carolina, said.

The Senate needs to get it done fast because everybody already knows how bad the bill is and just like Health Care they arent going to just sit on their laurels.

Re: POTUS 46:24 - Donald Trump! Superstar!!

But, they're gonna work around that by, instead of triggering automatic tax increases, they trigger spending cuts instead. Bye bye Medicare and SS.

Which would be perfect if they didnt talk about it openly. The AARP is going to make sure their membership knowss this...

Man when the market corrects in 2018/2019 there is going to be a lot of retirees looking for work if/when this passes.
