Not sure where this belongs...but since Rick is a #NeverTrumper and we all need a laugh...apparently every time Faux goes after him he gets emails from Trumpers and posts them. Here is a gem:

Before the coronavirus outbreak, a cascade of preparedness warnings. A simulation's sobering results drove home just how underfunded, underprepared and uncoordinated the federal government would be for a life-or-death battle with a virus for which no treatment existed.

WASHINGTON – The outbreak of the respiratory virus began in China and was quickly spread around the world by air travelers, who ran high fevers. In the United States, it was first detected in Chicago, and 47 days later the World Health Organization declared a pandemic. By then it was too late: 110 million Americans were expected to become ill, leading to 7.7 million hospitalized and 586,000 dead.

That scenario, code-named “Crimson Contagion,” was simulated by the Trump administration’s Department of Health and Human Services in a series of exercises that ran from last January to August.

The simulation’s sobering results — contained in a draft report dated October 2019 that has not previously been reported — drove home just how underfunded, underprepared and uncoordinated the federal government would be for a life-or-death battle with a virus for which no treatment existed.

IIRC, married Mormon couples are allowed to decide between themselves what is sexually permissible as long as it doesn't violate the "one man, one woman, in the bounds of matrimony" policy. Just sayin'...

Poll: Majority of Americans now approve of Trump’s coronavirus management And people wonder why I have so little faith in humanity... This president's actions and inactions will literally lead to people dying and wealth disappearing. Yet more approve of his handling than disapprove. Maybe when unemployment hits 25% or the dead bodies stack up outside hospitals people will see his performance differently...

It isn't "humanity." It is the stupid among us. We've been carrying them since the Stone Age. It is as if we are two species: one hopeful, open, loving, and curious; one afraid, closed, resentful, and bovine.

The former pulls us up into prosperity and civilization, the latter drags us back into poverty and ignorance.

The sorting is obvious by age 13 or 14.

And now we've finally bifurcated politically.
