China is now going to kick our *** on clean energy initiatives, but tDon is going to save virtually no jobs in the coal industry. I'm sure mookie has a cute platitude to avoid that reality as well.
There was an article on Morning Edition this morning- pointing out how very rural areas of the country will be the most hurt by don's plans.
They are ok with it.
When it comes down to protecting the borders vs clean water- they would rather protect the borders.
So they will die 5 years earlier, but at least a threat that isn't actually a threat to them directly, will be "faced".
In simpler terms: "If choosing between clean water and brown people or brown water and white people, pass the Brita filter.""If you ask me would I rather see the money go for our water plant, or to possibly try to control our borders and the security of our nation, the security of our nation is more important to me,"
So much for walking away...he is so bitter about Health Care he is declaring Civil War![]()

I've been posting about this for years now. It's stupid that we're giving up a global leadership and trillions of dollars in technology because of some f_ckwits in West Virginia are too GD stupid.
It's not that, it's the stupid "Manly Man" cultural image of the GOP, where you need to drive a Chevy and drop out of school in the seventh grade to be a Real 'Murican.
Part of their blind hatred of anything "sophisticated" is their opposition to environmentalism. Obviously that's fed by the corporate paymasters of the party, but it fits perfectly with the Celebration of Lunkheadedness that is the right's brand now.
You realize about 40% of what he posts on this board is a bit, right? Even more than that in the political threads. It's fun once you just go with it.China is now going to kick our *** on clean energy initiatives, but tDon is going to save virtually no jobs in the coal industry. The great irony is the "administrative state" which Bannon has vowed to destroy was created to give the least powerful some leverage against the wealthy. Liberals have the education, income and skills -- we will be fine. When the conservatives destroy the EPA we'll move to nice places, when they destroy education we'll send our kids to private school, when they destroy the FDA and OSHA we'll do our own research on the products and employers which adhere to health and safety standards.
The people who voted for Trump are the people who need the administrative state. They voted to slice their own throats. Let it be. We should stick to protecting people who want to be protected. That is a big enough job by itself and it wastes resources to try to help the drowning man who is actively trying to drown you too.
Can you try to sound a little more elitist, please?

It's too bad there wasn't a candidate who offered increases in economic redevelopment and job training. Of course, that would mean having to adapt to a new reality, though being given a lot of help along the way. Rather, they literally want the same jobs they had 30 years ago. These being the same people who whine about inner-city people being too lazy to take some initiative to improve their lives.

Can you try to tell us how he's wrong?

"Oh, it would have been inconceivable. We couldn't have done it. People couldn't afford for us to do it," says Larry Sigler, who works at the plant.
