POTUS 45.66: Get Hard

The only thing I see is Trump wants to lose all his lawsuits. He is fine burning everything down. In fact, the more he loses the more the cult loves him.

The last Bovada odds were something like -175 conviction, +125 acquittal.
 
Hung juries dont happen as often as Law and Order says they do just an FYI. If the jury is hung in this case I would bet that would only be on the top count...

Full acquittal is almost assuredly not going to happen. Not on all of the charges. They have him dead to rights on the fraud The Defense didn't even argue against it. I mean it is literally written out on the documents how they did it by hand. I mean the putz admitted outside to the press. That fraud will likely not warrant jail time though if "experts" are to be believed.

Personally I am not sure the "Election Interference" angle holds and smells too much like a reach. If the judge allows for lesser charges (the misdemeanors) to be part of this then I think the Jury takes that "out" and convicts him of that. But I only stayed at a Holiday Inn last night I am hardly an expert. (I just watch and read a lot of them)

So for those of you putting percentages, are you saying "Overall" or just the Top Count? Because Top Count I would say 50/50 at best...overall he will be convicted of something imho.

I think 75% is high...honestly if I bet on it I would bet acquittal on the top count over hung. I just am not sure that the prosecutors proved interference. It reminds me of the first Impeachment...way too many questions that I feel weren't answered. (not to us but the average juror perhaps) They needed Weisselberg to flip and connect all of the dots. A lot will depend on how the judge instructs the jury. Having 2 lawyers on the jury is going to make this interesting.

To be fair I am not sure I like the precedent this case sets anyways. If Trump gets nailed on the top count it isn't hard to see how the The Fascists will twist it to use for their own gain later on. I think Bragg may have overcharged and honestly I think this case has way too much value thrust on it because of the BS the GOP is pulling in GA and of course Judge Cannon delaying the easiest case of them all. Jack Smith should really force Cannon's hand at this point.

Guarantee he tells his supporters he wasn't allowed to because of the gag order and that violates the Constitution. And they believe it.
 
I cannot imagine he ever sees the inside of a cell, literally no matter what he does. That's how badly justice is f-cked by political pressure. Dump is a full-on traitor and he will never go to prison. We have no capacity to give just sentences to people who have (or appear to have) money, unless they steal from other people with money.

What does this even mean? Are you saying there is a Trumper on there that will hang the jury? That is not very likely. Even if one made it through voir dire in tact the chances they were able to keep it together as their King was being skinned is pretty slim. Maybe in Florida but I find that hard to believe in New York. But we will see...it could get real ugly if you are right.
