It's worth doing. He's part of an insurrection, and if this succeeds we can go on to block out a lot of other traitors.
For anyone with some time to kill this morning, or if you are just interested, the Minnesota Supreme Court will be livestreaming the oral arguments on the case brought here in Minnesota seeking to keep Trump off the ballot due to the 14th Amendment to the Constitution. Unlike Colorado, which apparently requires a massive trial on the issue, in Minnesota the Supreme Court appears to have original jurisdiction, or at least the Petitioners think so.
The argument starts at 10 a.m., Central time, and will probably last about an hour, it appears.

Its not going to succeed...and honestly it makes us look exactly like he pretends we are.
If we can't beat him based on what he has already done then not only don't we deserve to win, but honestly it won't matter anyways because someone smarter will destroy us soon.

As it looks right now, this is a republican effort. Biden beat him, fair and square. But no R has, especially his worshiper minions. People like Pence and Deathsantis know that they can't beat him- especially since the words they use have not changed, the very words that has lead us to this place. They are too stupid to see that they are actually helping dumpy because of the rhetoric.
I could be wrong, but I don't see D's nearly as worried as the dumpy party.
Then why werent any of the people charged with Insurrection? How do you have an insurrection when it doesnt rise to the level of charging said person with insurrection? If you are caught on camera telling people "We need to go to the Capital!" and "Tomorrow, we need to go into the Capitol. Into the Capitol." - would this make you an insurrectionist?

The fact that no intelligent or ethical person will vote Republican should worry us. The scum also rises.
Because it's a far better legal strategy for the prosecutor to charge against 2384 (Seditious Conspiracy) rather than 2383 (Rebellion or Insurrection). Seditious conspiracy is way easier to prove (529 convictions in 532 cases as of July 2023, per a Forbes article I found) and therefore results in a better outcome than taking the risk that more of these jackbags get off scot-free.

2016 was dumpy vs someone that was not liked much even in her own party. And then we got to see what dumpy was all about after that, too- the whole "drain the swamp" was far more about filling so high that you could not even see who is doing what.
But worse for the Rs, they started to turn against each other. Which is why I think people like Deathsantis is desperate to not face him head to head.
Since 2016, D's have pretty much won every election, right? Took the Senate back, took the President, didn't really lose the House, and have won states that ran dumpasses. Even my state has swung back D.

And then there are the polls.
This country has a lot of dopes and a lot of sociopaths, and they are all shoulder-to-shoulder, straight ticket R. Biden is +/- MOE with a booming economy and in good health. The derp is very strong in our nation; the courts and state legs have been packed with Nazis. Dump could easily win.

Where does Dump make his gains? What states does he flip from 2020?
I get that Dump has his minions, but I struggle to see where R's are generating NEW R voters. The R's are also dying off at a much higher clip than non-R's. The D's are gaining new voters everyday.
A "bad beat" can still happen, so we do need to show up. But at this point, I trust the math in play overall.

The gains are the 2020 voters staying home because Biden didn't cure everything with a 50-50 Senate featuring Manchin/Sinema and a 2016 Clinton turnout hands Trump the White House.

Seriously? Normally, the mid-term lose the house really badly- and it was so close that the r's can't even run it themselves. It's chaos because the D's overperformed in the mid-term.
Are people dumb? Sure. But the R party is in far more chaos than the D party is thanks to dumpy.
If people decide to end this experiment, though, we will move east into Canada, I think.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves and start making up that the economy is taking a dump. It's expanding and getting better.
The stupid part of that is the worshipers have no clue that trickle down economics is a scam. Unions is where it's at.
And the current real danger is that government is cut so much that laws cant be enforced.

2020 voters didn't stay home in 2022 and if that is historically what happens. (ask Nate Silver...oh wait he is probably ranting about COVID) But now we are so afraid it will happen in 2024 we need to keep a guy off the ballot...like that will somehow stop a coup.
Look, if Trump gets convicted keep him off the ballot. As of yet he has not been. Trying to stretch the laws to show he doesn't qualify makes us look as conspiratorial as they pretend we are. And make no mistake this is a friggin stretch and it is not something I want courts deciding.
