BTW, the "standing declassification order" has been debunked by his own National Security Advisor, let alone how that's essentially impossible based on the actual law - since every single document could be gotten with a simple FOIA request by anyone. Clearly, as a security "expert", you know that already, right?

As for the 18 months- you think nothing was going on to get the documents back? Even though you already claimed that he's given some documents back months ago? You need to make up your mind what your standing is- can't really have it both ways.

Given the degree of security, I 100% doubt that we will get all of the details, ever.

Sure, some may want to send him to jail, others are actually worried what was released to anyone willing to pay his bills.

So I admit I'm trying to unplug for a bit...but what is the big deal about the passport anyways? The FBI doesn't have it anyways according to Norah O'Donnell...
 
Beau makes a good point about why these investigations are turning out differently than Republicans' other obstructions. Ever since Reagan wheedled his way out of Iran-Contra, the core of Republican behavior has been that norms have no enforcement mechanism. They can lie with impunity, even when everybody with a brain knows they are lying. There's no force of law.

Welp, in a courtroom, there is. So it doesn't matter that Republican voters don't understand matters of fact, juries do. And it doesn't matter Republican Members don't enforce matters of law. Judges do. As Beau says it is only a matter of time until a Republican does what he usually does and walks into perjury.

So unless they can somehow maneuver to appear in front of their hack judges, there is no reason to assume Dumpy et al. won't wind up with the prison terms that anybody else in America would receive if they were doing the same thing.

Trump took zero steps to declassify anything. Just because Sicatoka refuses to understand that doesn't make it less true.

But hey, he is a fun little thought experiment...lets say he did. Well Biden, reclassified them the same way. Trump is still in possession of stolen docs that are classified. Suck it up Sicatoka your Fraud King is the traitor you pretended Hillary was.
