Seems that everything that used to be important for Rs when I was a kid is the opposite- we used to hate the USSR, now they bow down to former KGB agent Vlad; used to want real financial conservative, now will blow up the budget for tax cuts; used to actually lead the world in making stuff, now can’t off shore work fast enough; used to really care about national security, now find excuses to have their dictator hand over the most secret to anyone who will give him money; some are even concerned about their hunting grounds, but hate environmental laws; used to actually care about infrastructure, now just bring it up for reasons.

The hypocrisy of the party knows no bounds just to get their way. And they have gutted education so badly that their followers donate money knowing they will get hurt in the end.
 
We should not even waste our time referencing conservatives. They aren't honest debaters and nothing they say matters anyway.

We should concentrate on our solutions. The children will play in their poop -- let them. Ignore them. When they break laws, throw them in prison like we would scrape sh-t off our shoe. They do not rate engagement.

None of the Platonic ideal conservatives you think are the "true conservatives" are left, at least in the US. You go to war with the army you have, not the one you wish you had, and the Right is what its record says it is.
