How does one get multiple (active) passports?

Asking for a friend...

There are multiple legal ways to do it, from my past experience with nearly marrying a foreigner . Brits have a fairly easy loophole unless it’s been closed

amd of course I’m not talking about dodgy dictatorships or people who are criminals

Not sure why you're so aggressively asking irrelevant or ahead-of-the-game questions.

If you're talking to me (and my "was it in the warrant" question), is this you?

Some other thoughts:
  • Please don't fuck this up guys. Please.
  • ...
  • Getting access to look for these specific violations is not carte blanche to snoop around anywhere. Other illegal things must be in plain sight. This isn't a fishing expedition.
  • ...
  • Please don't fuck this up.

Taking stuff not covered by a warrant probably violates your points 1, 3, and 5.

I can’t imagine either. In unrelated news, the trade show he was at specialized in Trump-themed totes and cisterns.

More free rent.

Strange mention of cisterns. I heard about Jeremiah and a cistern yesterday (Jeremiah 38). He was put there for speaking truth.

And would admitting to getting them taken away because you're such a flight risk for such serious crimes be a good thing?

Did he just realize they were taken? Was it announced that the passports were taken? It would totally crack me up and not surprise me at all if he just misplaced them.

Sic, if you actually bothered me, I would have blocked you already. You’re entertainment, cuz. Pure magic.

They took his passport? Well, he is a massive flight risk, right? Good idea.

BTW, the idea of taking stuff that wasn't on the warrant- that's quite legal and ok, as long as it's alongside the stuff that was taken. One has to remember that the agents are in a hurry, and need to get everything on the list- so if other stuff is included, all I've seen is that it's perfectly acceptable.

They will return it in due time, unless there are extra documents that are related and also make it worse- again, from what I understand, related documents are legal to use against a person.

It's funny that there was no real specifics in the Secretary of State's possible documents that might be a risk, but just with the warrant being released, we have an idea how incredibly serious the documents that dumpy had. Yet for his minions on this board, it was still bad that Clinton *might* have had a minor risk that some documents could have been exposed vs. actual very, very secure documents that were not securely stored in someone's personal residence is somehow ok.

Crazy how one was so bad, and this isn't.

You'd think that the risk to state security would be a problem, but it's not. Who knew.

The "government owns passport" answer is on point.

But wouldn't they still have to list them in the billet of items taken? (Back to Swansong's points 1, 3, and 5.)

The other thing is, if he claims they were "stolen" like reported in one of the links someone provided, I think a report that your passport was stolen automatically invalidates that passport (for obvious reasons).

Who said they took items not part of their search?

Taking a passport from a billionaire who's a legit flight risk doesn't invalidate the rest of their investigation, even if it wasn't itemized on the warrant (if it wasn't).

Ignore anything he says. Take nothing at face value.

Also, I'll add that Sic's posts have been of the usual "my team did obvious bad thing" mold, where he seizes on something - real or make believe - and bends it into something that he thinks invalidates all the rest of the story.

"Yeah, so what if Trump had nuclear secrets in a box in an unlocked basement, something something warrant something something."

This ain't good.

But we're still seemingly waiting for the details to trickle out and the claims to sort themselves out. Did he have a 'declassification standing order' (<-- the opposite of secure, I'm completely unimpressed with that). Why wait 18 months if its so dire.
