Remember, they also pretend to care about the military- giving them a ovation at every sporting event across the country when possible. Until you ask them to ACTUALLY support the veterans and give them health care that is appropriate for people willing to die for our country. Both physical and mental. It should not be so hard to get veterans the best healthcare we can.

Realistically, that should even apply to all first responders, too. But we also know that isn't happening.

Police get support when they are putting people down that they want down, but remember the reaction on Jan 6, when cops tried to defend (not all) the capitol- exactly the same reaction. And the US being a nation of laws- again, if it's to contain the free speech of minorities.... yea. But when the law is enforced on their own- then it's suddenly bad (and divisive).

It was a rhetorical question. Anyone with a functioning brain knows all this Back The Blue stuff was just more Repub bullshat.

I just wanted to rant again about how those people pretend to really care about our vets, but don't want to actually support them- really, really, really makes me mad.

Last week, we happened to find a national cemetery just north of Holly, Michigan- it's really a new one- less than 20 years old. And I suspect some R decided to donate his farm to bury vets. Which is nice and all, but it would have been a lot better if they were more willing to pay for their healthcare. Really makes me sick to see dumpers out there pretending to care.

(on a side note, if anyone has read the book Currahee by Donald Burgett- he passed in 2017, and is buried there in Holly- I read his book as a kid, really good. It's "Band of Brothers" published by the actual vet +20 years before Ambrose published his book)

"He's the President, he's allowed to declassify anything" is the excuse as used before. Even though that's also not correct. And that somehow excuses the actual and real threat to national security - as it did for the ENTIRE time that moron was president as compared to Secretary Clinton who *might* have had something on her server that could have been a risk.

It's incredibly ironic that dumpy signed a law that was to get Hillary and then got caught breaking the exact same law. what a moran.
 
Evidence was planted, I'm the president and declassified all those documents anyway, it's privilged attorney/client material... why don't the MAGAts get as dizzy as I do spinning around to catch all of trump's excuses?

I miss the days when conservatives were just mistaken and not clusterfuck stupid and untethered to reality. And dx, Sic doesn't disappear every time the GQP does something stupid, because if he did he would have been long gone years before trump and would quite literally never return.
 
Oh my god. The latest trial balloon is that he waited until two days before 1/20 to start packing up from the White House. Things happened.
 
Someone on Fark put together of the numerous excuses this past week:

1. There were no boxes at Mar-a-Lago
2. Other people brought those boxes to Mar-a-Lago
3. Archives could have retrieved the boxes anytime they wanted
4. All the documents in the boxes were declassified
5. I was protecting the boxes for the Archives
6. The boxes were planted by the FBI
7. Obama had more boxes
8.The documents should not have been classified in the first place
9. The documents were already returned.
10. They were my documents
11. There was a standing order that any documents I I took out of the Oval Office were automatically declassified
12. Mishandled and rushed move by GSA
13. Invented hoax because J6 Committee ratings were dropping
14. Laws against espionage are wrong

1. Even if the president can declassify anything he wants to, there's still a process that must be gone through before the thing is actually declassified. He can't just say "this is declassified now" and make it so.

2. Under the laws thatDonnie is accused of breaking, and this search was conducted for, there's no requirement that the documents involved have to be classified.

Just more Repub bullshat.

I can see that. He thought he'd never have to leave.

But then, why didn't he return them when the Archives came asking for them? He's been "negotiating" with them for how long now, since at least the beginning of the year.

And also, reports that MAL security video shows those documents from that room being accessed, moved, and the returned, etc. So no, " we didn't know they were there"

Can't wait for the fingerprint analysis.

There is no such thing as the FBI.
 
Now the affidavit is the most important thing in the world to the republicans. What will be the next goal post moved? This one will have a longer lifespan because the DOJ is not going to release it, because to do so would -- at the very least -- violate Department of Justice policy.

republicans will never come to grips with the fact their orange overlord is most likely guilty of crimes that at the very least should ensure he goes to federal prison and only gets out in a fucking rubber bag.

Can you imagine the kind of violence that is going to be unleashed if trump is actually arrested? Man that is going to be fun. Unfortunately it is also not a good enough reason to not perp-walk his orange a s s straight to prison. We can't be directed by terrorists.

Yea, go after the person turning them in, ignore the law breaking. One that could be incredibly dangerous to the US or other nations around the world. These guys are pathetic.
 
Just saw comments from former National Security Advisor, John Bolton, made about dumpy being really not secure at all with sensitive documents- this apparently happened all of the time with that president.

Which tells me that republicans have once again removed themselves from any logical conversation about national security. Especially concerning any Democrat, particularly Secretary Clinton.

They could have done something about it when he was still president, and did nothing but worry. And now look where we are.

drew- you implied that dumpy should have not been able to take the documents at all- well, HIS OWN PEOPLE LET IT HAPPEN!!!!!! This isn't a on the shoulders of Biden, or Democrats, this is 100% on republicans and all of the dumpy administration- from the moment he won the election until now. Unless you have real evidence otherwise, dumpy administration members are telling us right now, that this happened all of the time when he was president.

sic- yea, many of us pointed this out within a month of dumpy taking office, let alone his appointments prior to that. But you just brush it off. It's good that you didn't take this seriously, just like your fellow enablers, and now we have to see if the former president is charged with treason. Thanks.
 
Where is Sic anyway? I said something mean about him a couple weeks ago. Hopefully he's still able to post on a forum in this dimension. I'm truly interested in seeing just how much a person can twist themselves into a human pretzel trying to defend what trump has done as not being THAT bad and besides Secretary Clinton stored some stuff in her personal email and that's kinda bad too.

If the worst of what so far been speculation and rumors (some of which I absolutely believe to be true) turns out to BE true, the danger trump has put this country in should alarm every single person out there who believes in any notion at all of "national security." If our resident security expert does not believe that, I would question his qualifications as a so-called security expert. Is that what he actually does in real life? Because if so, I certainly wouldn't employ him in the field.
