Or that he intended to, and just never got the consideration he wanted. Whether that was a big cash payment, help with election interference, help with covering up crimes, for negotiation to try and avoid extradition if he were to flee charges, etc. is irrelevant.
 
It doesn't have to amount to that big a thing. it's just they believe they know now why he wanted them.

It could be something as small as he wanted them as evidence to prove some kind of point against his perceived political enemies. Or he just wanted to show them off.

I’m sure people like sic will point out that he was allowed to as president. So it’s ok.
 
Does the article link to what specifically Jack Smith wrote/said? I just want to see something solid in writing before I put too much faith in the article.
 
God, it's hilarious, reading the breathless optimism on here for the latest speculation of how "the walls are closing in". Go back 4-5 years and plug in "Bob Mueller" for "Jack Smith", and it's like the same tired old BS. Deja vu ...

No. They aren't young to refuse that before the trial. That said I doubt it is a very big deal.

Classic. If it were any D, they would call them an anti-Semite, and demand they resign. But it’s ok when they support terrorists against Israel.

The truly sad part is that all of the worshipers follow it, and just support Israel because they suppress people they hate even more.
 
It wasn't Mueller's job to prosecute and if Chuck actually read his report he'd know the report was quite scathing and despite Mueller only doing a half-assed job.
 
Mueller's report was scathing and made it obvious Dump was guilty. He decided it would not be in the best interest if the country for him as Special Council to prosecute.

He did not half-as-s it; he was still too cautious and too tradition-bound when faced with a fascist criminal.

I agree. That's why I found it fascinating to hear Mary Katharine Ham say on Real Time that the Mueller Report and the entire Russia thing with Trump was a hoax. Bill pushed back on that one which was also fascinating cause he has gone full Republican lately.

If you did not see the episode it is worth checking out just for that exchange. Mary is generally regarded as one of the more level headed Republican voices yet she on this topic and some others lives entirely in the Deep State Conspiracy realm.
