Not for nothing, but fatty has a point there.... joe has been in Washington forever and what has changed?

If anything goes to show those people can’t do a dam thing about it. Looking at state houses or White Houses ain’t fixing it

Slavery was not abolished from 1776 through 1862, therefore it can never be abolished. Go on home, it's hopeless, accept it.

We’re officially great

“ BREAKING: President Trump has just signed a new executive order that expedites the permitting of construction projects despite environmental rules by waiving requirements under a bedrock environmental law that preciously required a review of their impact on the environment.”

So apparently the rats are fleeing the sinking ship?

Really? Who are they? The linked article notes Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski agreed with some of what General Mattis said recently, and Susan Collins plans to skip meeting up with trump when he makes an appearance in Maine, but what of the other 248 republican Senators and members of the House? One or two are basically the exceptions that prove the rule that virtually all republican members of the House and Senate will continue to carry trumps water to the ends of the earth.

Re: POTUS 45.64: Governance By Unhinged Twitter Rants

I find it really amazing to think just how bad a president trump has been. No matter how much I have disliked any previous president, no matter how much I disagreed with any policies, there was at least a day or two here or there where they impressed me as presidential. Some did it regularly, some occasionally, but there is always at least SOMETHING positive. Not once since trump announced he was running has he ever come close to resembling a decent person. Not once have I seen or heard him speak and not immediately wished he'd catch on fire and literally burn to ashes. He is a repugnant, vile human being.

Both Dishonest Donnie and MAGAt Nation would call this a "perfect interview," featuring 15 vague words on the question asked.

Trump's was asked how to address the problem of low trust in the police among African Americans. Bunker boy is coming to Maine today and will likely meet with some people BassAle, Rufus, Walrus, and I(fishermen) know then tour a factory that makes nasal swabs. It will be very interesting to see what kind of reaction he gets. There will obviously be some people who like him, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are one or two who give him a piece of their mind.

Re: POTUS 45.64: Governance By Unhinged Twitter Rants

Do they even allow people to get close enough to give him a piece of their mind? Especially given COVID, I don’t think we’re going to be seeing any Biden in the auto plant type videos surface.

We have some crafty folks up here. I'm sure they will come up with something.

I'd point to his work with the Violence Against Women's Act for one. I will also point out the ACA as another example. ChiP. Brady Bill. I could go on and on, but I'll close with this point mook - when did you turn into Scooby? ;)

Every person will be carefully vetted. Nobody is going to be in that plant who isn't a full-blooded Dumpy.

Funny thing about tyrants. They don't like dissent.

When GW Bush visited my college campus for a re-election rally in 2004, Secret Service emptied the building where the rally was to be held out of employees, shut the HVAC system off just prior to Bush's arrival, and only let in those with tickets. They locked it down pretty well.
