Re: POTUS 45:55: Wow, @CNN RATINGS HAVE CRASHED. LOST ALL CREDIBILITY!

I'm sure they tripped over their own ties while writing this bill, but unbelievably, the GOP put together an immigration bill that *sounds* promising.

Unfortunately, it was completely cooked up by the Senate GOP with a dash of House GOP. So it's likely filled with all sorts of racist sh*t. What happened to "working across the aisle" that they preach? Shouldn't a couple Dems been involved?

Funny how you can post that without a hint of irony, given your president's use of government assets and the bully pulpit to indeed, pick winners and losers economically, and call for boycotts, or reducing funds for industries or companies he doesn't like.

And every president before him hasn't? The minute the government got into social engineering, they get to decide the rules by which we play.

How many rules do we need? How many do we want?

He thinks we’re dumb enough to not realize his praise of the cricket team was a comment on the unpatriotic women’s soccer team

Wait, he was talking about a cricket team?

This is Drew, right? Gun luvvin' real 'Murican. Gettin' all moist in the nether regions over cricket?

Bwah hah hah hah hah hah. Oh Christ, make it stop. Think I ruptured my spleen.

Ummm, no, they haven't. Thanks for the knee-jerk Republicanism.

Don't you have some fetuses to protect? I can hear them screaming now.

Re: POTUS 45:55: Wow, @CNN RATINGS HAVE CRASHED. LOST ALL CREDIBILITY!

If trump let the "N" word fly at his next rally, would it be met by rapturous applause or stunned silence? Serious question. I know his rally attendees are clearly the very base of his base, and possibly not 100% representative of 60,000,000+ voters that will be voting for him in 2020, but my guess is rapturous applause.

Re: POTUS 45:55: Wow, @CNN RATINGS HAVE CRASHED. LOST ALL CREDIBILITY!

This is a good find!

Just did a quick Congress.gov search for "Condemn" "Obama" sponsored by Republicans. There were several more, these were just the ones that fit best.

Here were another three I didn't post:
56. H.Res.962 — 115th Congress (2017-2018) Condemning and censuring Maxine Waters, Representative of California's 43d Congressional District. Sponsor: Rep. Biggs, Andy [R-AZ-5]

5. H.Res.241 — 116th Congress (2019-2020) Condemning the anti-Semitic comments of Representative Ilhan Omar from Minnesota. Sponsor: Rep. Steube, W. Gregory [R-FL-17]

372. H.Res.652 — 113th Congress (2013-2014) Condemning the President of the United States and the executive branch of Government for continuous actions that violate the laws and Constitution of the United States. Sponsor: Rep. Weber, Randy K., Sr. [R-TX-14]

Those were a few I found just by searching for "Condemn".

Some pundit ripped me off (again) the other day when he stated that Chump's appeal isn't being a racist. His voters, Republicans/conservatives/Putinballwashers/whatever, were always racist. What Chump has done is allow them to embrace their racism loudly and proudly, and make them feel good about shouting out their KKK ideology at the top of their lungs instead of in the shadows. If Trump is re-elected all of these alt.right sites are going to go out of business because they'll be no need for any of their visitors to try to remain anonymous.

I think it depends on who said it. If HE said it, I think it would be a smattering of applause, lest anyone in that crowd get caught on camera and then get doxxed/etc. "We're not racist!" (yeah, right).
If some random person yelled it, people would applaud, because they could just attribute their applause to whatever Trump was saying at that moment.

Make sense? (honestly; since I'm getting a bit semantic here)

Re: POTUS 45:55: Wow, @CNN RATINGS HAVE CRASHED. LOST ALL CREDIBILITY!

I have an actual question about the House's condemnation of Trump.

Is this the first time in history the US Congress has condemned a tweet?

I'd have to imagine so. Given the earlier ruling of the courts saying Trump cannot block critics on his Twitter account, that is now an official outlet of the office, and therefore subject to the same things as every other official release.
