Who had "needs to be even more racist" in the pool for winning GOP electoral strategies?

No one asked all 4 Republicans that voted to condemn Dumps tweet if it was for not being racist enough...

LOL. Good point. "You're at a 3, I need you at an 8."

I have to say, you don't post much but when you do it's always good. :p

What a country.
“Republican support for President Trump has spiked 5 percent since he wrote that a group of minority progressive lawmakers, who are all US citizens, should “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came."

Weird, likely inaccurate poll. It has Trump's approval from Republicans *up* to 72% which would be dangerously low for him. Bush Jr left office with a 66% Republican approval rating, by comparison.

Yeah, I had thought Dump was consistently polling at over 90% approval among Republicans.

You intrigue me, sir. Where dat?

If you go to the sub forum with the threads, you can click on the count of the posts. It shows a complete breakdown of who posted in that thread. Or you can do it from your Subbed Threads page (control panel), but it only works for unread thread.

But they're not racist.

Saw a small article yesterday talking about this latest tweetstorm, and comparing it to how Trump went full-on anti-immigration before the midterms, and how it was hoping to drum up support for him among his base.

the article went on to say how these types of reports don't bother to take the next step, and examine just why such attacks are supposed to be viewed favorably by his base.

I'll see if I can hunt that up.

Of course. He's stamping the Democrat Party with The Squad. In hopes that that will win him the White House. And it might work with this electoral college.

He's replaying the 1968 election. It's fascinating. And it's depressing to see how little this nation has really changed. The left half of this country has kept growing and learning, but the right half is still back there with Sheriff Clark.

The right does not evolve and does not change. It is forever cowering in terror with a gun in one hand and a knife in the other. Whether it's defective toilet training or an abusive father or just f-cked up brain chemistry, it's going to always be with us. Containment is the only way of limiting its damage to itself.

No. The Right is cowering in the corner wetting itself while hiding behind the ignorant gun-toting, knife-holding rednecks they exploit.

Oh NPR...

There’s a lot of pretzel twisting there. Got into journalism because he felt views weren’t being portrayed correctly and wanted to change it, but we can’t portray these views because we didn’t previously portray them that way and therefore it would mean the line has changed.

Re: POTUS 45:55: Wow, @CNN RATINGS HAVE CRASHED. LOST ALL CREDIBILITY!

First of all seems a bit disingenuous to rip NPR they printed an opinion piece by one worker there...

Second, what he said isnt necessarily wrong. There is a difference between opinion and journalism and in his mind it is for the opinion sections to call the tweets racist and it is the journalism sections jobs to just report what was said without labels. I know that doesnt fly in the clickbait culture but that is kind of how it is supposed to be and seeing as the guy has been in the game longer than we have been alive it isnt exactly shocking he has a more old school mentality towards how journalism should be practiced.

He didnt say the President wasnt racist he said leave the name calling to the parts of the news that is based on opinions. Not exactly controversial...even if I dont agree with it.
