I used to write use cases for a living. You never stated IF, you only stated WHEN. You write for situation that will be encountered for the subject at hand. Otherwise, you could write about If a hippopotamus were to have lunged at the person while in the process of committing treason, then we'd have a more entertaining story by far. Sure, but that's not really the subject of why you're writing; you write for when a situation applicable to the specific subject occurs.

Kep - I was being somewhat facetious in stating Mueller set up that possible scenario. But I do think he tried to remain as neutral as possible to the naked eye and would not be surprised if they call him in.

Remember that Mueller said today "when" someone obstructs, not "if" someone obstructs. In addition, he said according to the constitution he could not charge a sitting president from the offices of the DOJ.

He wouldn't waste his time clarifying that distinction if he held the opinion Trump wasn't guilty of a crime.

I can appreciate that, but unless I just don't understand, use case writing is not something law-trained attorneys learn. Do you know of law schools or legal departments that teach or follow it?

It's not as though the notion of writing for positive/negative outcomes of a situation are met is unique to use cases. The law is different in that extenuating circumstances are written as If/Then scenarios in the theoretical, but Mueller was writing about specific situations that actually happened, not in the theoretical. Every commentator I've read has stated that the man was very particular in the language he used. It reminded me of the style that I once had to write, though certainly not as well as he did.

Trump and Bernie win their party nominations. Who do you vote for? Knowing a third party vote is useless.

Game plan for Ds this year: nominate a slight left but still moderate D so they can actually win the election (helps to not be part of a dynasty, part of what did Clinton in). THEN start doing what you want to do.

If they nominate someone like Bernie, many of those swing voters will go third party or independent, and increase the chances of a Trump win. Why? Those that are THAT far left will be label socialists (whether actually true or not) and cause worry among those swing voters. Like it or not, that will happen.

Don't put the cart before the horse, play to the voters that are listening (basically, anyone outside that 35%) and it's a slam dunk win.

That's not what Mueller said.

That is what Nadler (Chair of Judiciary) said Mueller's response was to testifying in open session last week. They were negotiating it and still are. Hell he isnt even sure he will subpoena him and Mueller saying "The Report is My Testimony" pretty much tells us all we need to know about whether he wants to speak in front of Congress unless compelled to.

He wouldnt refuse, that doesnt mean he has any interest in answering questions. He will do exactly what Kep said...he will re-iterate what the report says (that which he is allowed to) and will do his best not to speculate under direct questioning. He doesnt want his opinion to be used just the facts. That is why the report is set up the way it is and that is why he kept his trap shut after Barr lied about what the report said. He wants to remain impartial and A-Political, which is kind of impossible when discussing the findings of an investigation on a politician.

I'm just trying to get over how I already live in a socialist state? We have Social Security (with disability no lesss), Medicaid, Medicare. Welfare. This is all bad bad stuff.
