Don't go Bernie or AOC level, and I'll vote for you. Otherwise, no vote or 3rd party, here I come!

Works both ways for extremism.

You're either with them or against them. Take this approach and you'll have to argue with Joe on who gets the top bunk.

That's the problem I have. The Ds have the same approach as the Rs, which gets this country nowhere. The Rs have run everything over, as we have seen. The Ds don't have that power. Why even try it? Chip away at it, get in position to have that power, THEN move forward.

History Does Not Repeat Itself, But It Rhymes
Despite opposing beliefs, there is a certain similarity between the current far left movement and that of the Tea Party.

...or AOC level, ...

I don't understand this. What's wrong with making this country better to live in?

"Oh, we can't afford it."
Well, we can't afford to keep giving corporate welfare and tax cuts, so let's make America Green again.

"Let the free market decide what happens."
Been there. Done that. And that's why the Cuyahoga River burned, why Centralia, PA is still burning, why the EPA was created, and why we designated National Park Land to remain unmolested.

But sure, let's whine about the brown girl having stupid ideas.

*Edit* this isnt to you specifically whining about AOC, it's directed to the general hate that she gets.

Yeah, Roy is a great guy

Rot in hell, you POS

“Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who refused to give former President Obama's final Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland a hearing in 2016 because it was a presidential election year, said Senate Republicans would fill a Supreme Court vacancy even if it occurs during the 2020 election.”

And Democrats will whine and moan and not do a thing about it.

You'll hold your nose and vote for a deplorable Republican candidate, but nothing can make you hold your nose and vote for a less deplorable Democrat.

Because.........reasons.

No. The precedent has been set though. If opposite parties control the White House and the Senate, Supreme Court Justices will not get through.

Well, they're the same, just opposite ends. For example, what AOC wants for the environment is exactly as extreme as what Donald Trump/Turtle Boy want. It doesn't matter that one destroys and one preserves. It only matters that they are equally extreme.

Your naive faith in Republicans holding to precedent, and Democrats growing a set is quite sad, really.

Well, I wish the Republicans luck getting one through if the Dems ever control the Senate and they have the Presidency. I don't think it will happen. As for precedent you did not catch the caveat. The Republicans set it, the Democrats follow it. So, I'm not saying here that Republicans will hold anything. I'm saying the Democrats will.

There's no faith involved.

Re: POTUS 45:53: I Didn't Appoint That Judge So It Doesn't Matter.

Prove me.

Trump and Bernie win their party nominations. Who do you vote for? Knowing a third party vote is useless.

I reject your idea that voting for a third party candidate is useless. Why do you claim that? Because they have "no chance?"

If that's your argument, then voting for a Republican for President while a resident of California, or voting for a Democrat for President while a resident of North Dakota is also "useless."

Furthermore, if your thinking is correct, we can never have a viable third party since no one can vote for them until they have a enough support to win.

Was it useless to vote for the third party candidate for governor in Minnesota 20 years ago?

Does that third party even exist anymore? You want real change and real power you create a voting block faction in one of the two parties. Forming a third party only serves to get the party least like your views elected.
