I'm sure the video clip didn't capture the whole conversation, but nobody on the clip posted indicated they were Trump supporters. There was one person who indicated that he was still open to voting for Trump in 2020, but it sounded like he would be more likely to vote for Bernie than Trump.

Very interesting video.
 
Gillibrand just did a fantastic job explaining what's broken about US capitalism during her FOX town hall. I doubt any of them got it.

Videos like that one just infuriate me. They found the one young Bernie voter who admitted he switched to Trump, and would likely do so again if Biden is the nominee. Are you farking kidding me?

Is it possible “the one” isn’t just one bad apple? Do I think they all did? Certainly not; that’s ridiculous. But I think a healthy minority did.

And therein lies the problem. This whole "fark you coasties for being more successful and having more opportunities than us" part of Bernie and Trump culture. Is it really any wonder Sanders did better in the Upper Midwest than anywhere else?

We can joke all we want, but I can actually feel trix's views in that video with the Berniecrat, and you should, too. Dems are at risk if they don't connect with these types of people.

I'm sorry, but I am literally terrified by Ohoians like the Bernie guy (and I know we have the same folks in Michigan, and probably Wisconsin). They will fark us if we don't pick the right candidate (which I'm sure trix is thrilled with).

This is how the media moves their spot light and in doing so actively creates news rather than passively reporting it. Having that bizarre outlier on the tube allows the people pushing the narrative that that is a broad phenomenon to have a totem they can point to. It implies an assertion by representation, rather than doing the harder work of objectively determining frequency.

Remember the doofus in 2016 in the sweater who still hadn't decided? The media used him to imply there were hordes who hadn't decided yet. In reality, there was no army of undecideds. 2016 was the most radical split between candidates and constituencies since the Civil War. But showing one guy on teevee creates the illusion of millions.

Fox does the same thing with climate science. It has real world effects. It warps the information people depend on to make decisions.

tl; dr: everything should be math. Individual people are anecdotal.

The Dump tax cut did exactly what it was designed to do, just like Reagan's and Dubya's.

True. What it didn't do and has NOT done since Reagan is done what it was sold to do.
