Do you honestly think any of them even understand that each Arab State is different from itself? They probably think Iran is to Iraq what North Dakota is to South Dakota.

Iran could probably throw Trump off their scent for a couple years by renaming themselves as Persia.

There certainly would be a risk they wouldn’t just play defense either.

TBH I don't know if they have any offensive capability. They could maybe do a sequel to the HMS Sheffield if we were too dumb with our boats in the Strait. But in the sky? No chance. And with the US having air superiority within the first 2 hours of fighting that would restrict Iran to simple D.

Best you can do against a superior force is stash supplies in the mountains, send thousands of your trained troops along with supply and support. And leave everything with internet behind. You need to play Galactica -- anything reachable by cyber will be dead or worse well before war is declared. Which means networked systems are lost -- and how can you mount effective anti-air or even simple GPS without them?

Wait in the cities with anti-tank weapons. Disappear into the hills and the high desert. Blend in. Wait under rocks and strike like a snake. Dig in and think in decades. The invader will get tired.

tech time coming where if one does that, they end up jailing themselves in long term.
opposing force could wire and video the mtn and have munitions fire at will. drones fly constant surveillance. if one declares everyone 'behind' the line an enemy combatant then everyone is a target and there is no need for discretion. Escape From New York :)

The best part was a tweet they posted yesterday showing that Biden was still going up to women and hugging and kissing them.

It was a video of Biden with his wife...
