I am more than fine with MN's gas tax. Maybe if the GOP hadnt screwed up tax revenue for years we wouldnt need it but they did so we do. Got a problem with it take it up with the MNGOP who royally screwed us.

The problem with a Toll Road is that outside of the heart of the Twin Cities Metro, there isn't enough traffic counts to pay for the full interstate system. And then how do you pay for state and local roads? And, unless waivers are given (which apparently Connecticut is looking into because they're going to offer congestion pricing, not a full blown toll), ZERO federal OR State dollars can be spent on the construction or maintenance of Toll Roads.

Lot of taxes hurt poor people more. Most, actually. And user fees. Don't see you whining about them.

Till you start advocating for hire rates on the income top brackets, higher capital gains taxes, and removing that cap on SS taxes, you're just nitpicking.

Roosevelt and Kennedy both hid serious physical conditions from the public. It's difficult to hide serious mental/psychological conditions when you won't stay away from social media. If he'd just take them all to the Fox Laundry, we'd be seeing a different emperor.

In below the radar news, Trump is easing offshore drilling safety rules imposed after Deepwater Horizon explosion. Estimated savings to fossil fuel industry is $1.5 billion over ten years. Meanwhile, these very profitable companies still get government subsidies (SOCIALISM:eek:). WHY? This from the Natural Resource Defense Council about a year ago:
A new study, the G7 Fossil Fuel Subsidy Scorecard, measured the US against other G7 countries on each country’s progress in eliminating fossil fuel subsidies. The US ranked the worst out of the G7 countries, spending over $26 billion a year propping up fossil fuels. (The G7 countries are Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, UK and the US.)

We all know socialism is ok when it goes to big companies, farmers, and other whites.

In other news, Pelosi is now saying she fears dump won’t respect any result of 2020 and will challenge a lot of races if not in the R favor.

So the guy who thinks that a horse being DQed because it broke the rules is because of PC is the same guy who thinks that his campaign getting investigated because it's communicating with people already under investigation and bragging about it is because of a deep state spying conspiracy?

Color me shocked.
