Hey leftists, y'all need a new playbook. Trump supposedly won't accept the results of the 2020 election if he loses, and keep himself in office? This is exactly what you claimed in 2016, and is exactly what you're doing with all of these cries of wolf.

It's only being discussed because Trump's lawyer testified about it yesterday. Otherwise it's not really a topic among leftists with the exception of a comedy show.

Because they partnered with an old family friend on some swamp land and the friend defrauded a whole bunch of people, including the Clinton's?

Didn't Ken Starr spend four years investigating *that* specific issue only to find Bill enjoyed a ******* from an intern?

What should they have been busted for? And if they should have, why haven't they???? Is it because R lawyers are horrible or that they didn't actually break the law? Be specific, here. Not just say "they did wrong"- what did they specifically do wrong that prosecutors missed? The same powerful government prosecutor group that is getting a number of dumpy people.

And Bill got penalized for lying under oath- you will recall he was impeached.

And can the second attorney claim that he can not say what was discussed?

Question two- client documents- under normal circumstances, those documents would be protected- clearly. Even if the client gave evidence of breaking the law to the attorney, right? What happens when the documents are about when the client instructed the attorney to break the law on their behalf? Are the documents still protected? If not, what is the legal obligation of the attorney if he is instructed to break the law?

As to question one, attorney work product is also privileged. So conversations and documents prepared could also be shielded by a presumption of privilege, but this presumption is not absolute. The adverse party must show substantial need for records like this and that relevant and non-privileged facts are essential to the preparation of the adverse party's case. This is true in civil litigation and criminal prosecution.

What's interesting about the whole Clinton-criminal and bad people BS is that the right is revving up the system to take down a number of prominent Democrats- I just watched a number of snippets that are attacking AOC - many of which are incredibly racists and sexist (sometimes at the same time), and it was not just Faux that was leading the charge. Funny that in the hearing yesterday, she did not start out with some statement, just started out in questioning. Virtually all R's and many D's started with some statement which were all largely pointless- so it was nice to see her cut to the chase and not waste her 5 min.

I do find it fascinating that Ken Starr investigated for 8 years and somehow could not land the big fish and Mueller's only been going for 2 years and Sic wants the investigation to end.

So the follow up question- if that same congressional group subpoenas Allen Weisselberg, can they compel him to testify about the conversations where Cohen was directed to break the law?

There was a lot of people, myself included, who were very impressed with her demeanor relative to the rest of her colleagues both left and right. No grandstanding. No posturing. Just setting up her committee to have the means to subpoena trumps tax returns. It was very well done.

They can subpoena him possibly, but you might only get “On advice I counsel...” answers.
