But today he's credible because he's stopping just short of outright saying Trump told him to break the law. (<--- That's literally what I heard on one of the TV talking heads just now.)

So I'm forced to ask, if Cohen would go full monty and make the statement "Trump told me to break the law" Cohen would then become ... incredible? Stay credible?

It was a very confusing take on Cohen testimony to try to understand.

1. Be shocked Dump could do such things and join the auto de fe.

3. Bluff it out. Refuse to accept anything has been proven.

A CNN panel said Michael Cohen made a false claim Wednesday when he said he never wanted a job in the Trump White House during his testimony before the House Oversight Committee.

Next, what if Mueller doesn't deliver for you (kinda your question in reverse).

Mueller's "delivery" will be to state the fact patterns, nothing more. I don't expect him to make any kind of summary judgment. He may recommend Congressional hearings, which the House will take up and the Senate will whitewash. Then Dump will try to prevent the report from being put before the people or maybe even before the House, and then we'll have a crisis.

As with Kavanaugh, I'm with getting to the bottom of things. I naturally assume the side that is trying to hide and thwart are doing so for a reason.

So don't believe what he has to say, then. No big deal.

However, two things- he brought evidence of payment. So there's something behind the allegation that dumpy broke the law.

Second- he's also bringing very clear evidence of witness intimidation. Which is a very serious crime. Cohen's credibility has nothing to do with this part- dumpy and his cronies clearly threatened Cohen, and that is against the law. I'm not sure anyone can interpret the tweets and statements otherwise. So this is the POTUS committing a clear crime. Does that no bother you?

And thanks to point 2- all of the actual intimidation that has been lashed out to Cohen, that does provide a lot of credibility to his statements.

Thankfully, there are many on the committee that have noticed that.

Meuller has delivered. Look at the indictments, look at the guilty pleas, look at the people going to prison. That's his job.

If dumpy can stay clean with SO many of the people HE hired to run his campaign and business going to jail under their own admission, that would be really something. Again, look at an org chart and see which ones are going to jail. At a bare minimum, that's a pretty ****ing statement about dumpy's ability to choose people. Makes it even more funny that you are ok with him passing state secrets to russia- no anger or outrage what so ever.

Testimony today is pretty meaningless. The stuff yesterday, and tomorrow, and what the SDNY is investigating is way way more important.

Seems like most of the talking heads are more leaning to SDNY, and not russia. This whole winning the presidency may be drive Trump Inc into prison- probably many years late.
