Remember what a bunch of said when Cohen went down...guys like him prepare for the moment their shadiness catch up to them. He doesnt just know where the bodies are buried he has the pictures to back it up. He isnt some street level hood, he is Sammy "The Bull" testifying against Gotti and he has been preparing for this since 2016. Jim Jordan is out of his element.

No it was a commentary on what French Rage said. Kristol sucks and is a Right Wing Economic Loonjob which is why FR wishes anyone but Kristol was saying this stuff. I was saying that is how you know things have gotten bad for the GOP when even their lapdogs are walking away from them.

I think he wanted to stay as Trump's personal lawyer through Trump's presidency, not that he wanted an actual position on a cabinet or something else.

It's a fine lawyer-esque line. Yes, he aspired to a white house job, he just didn't want the usual gifted white house jobs.

Kristol freaked out when he realized Republican voters don't care about limited government or Austrian economics, they care about putting women and blacks back in their place and beating up Jews and people who use big words.

That really hurt Kristol's personal feelings and rocked his Weltanschauung. He and a lot of Ivory Tower conservative intellectuals actually believed the BS they were peddling, and to see it all exposed as nonsense and to realize they had just been played by the Kochs and others for their personal enrichment, well, that gave them a sad.

The irony is even though it's all been exposed as hogwash, the people who swallowed those narratives that those intellectuals came up with still haven't caught on. Think of how many times a day they are repeated innocently with no knowledge that they have been brutally thrown onto the ash heap of history. Even here.

I've been able to listen to a decent portion of the testimony on XM POTUS 124, and ... I feel like Cohen is like that new Pop singer of a catchy song but you find out that before this smash hit he quietly wrote a decade worth of pop hits others made famous you also like.

It seems like Cohen is just confirming "yep, this story was true. That story was true. Bits of that rumor are true."

It just feels like a "Greatest Hits of Sh*t We Already Knew About Trump."

Yeah, that was nice. A word of advice to dummies: do not go up against smarties. Katie Hill is roughly 5 trillion times smarter than Mark Meadows.
