It probably will for their target audience. Not for you or me, certainly, and his base will accept anything. That smallish but hugely important group just to the left of his base is who they care about, and many of them bought the same pitch against a different "liar" in '16.

The Dumpies don't need any strategy at all to be kept. They keep themselves. Their delusion is an act of self-love and self-preservation.

Also think of generational sorting caused by major wars. Crazy righties die disproportionately in wars because their mix of high violence and low intelligence sorts them into cannon fodder. The high military body counts for the US in the Civil War and WW2 really helped cull the worst derp on the right. But we've now been without a significant high body count war for 75 years. We're seeing the raw right uncorrected by mechanisms that used to suppress their dumbest and most violent members.

GOP just accused Cohen of NOT turning over the documents he is showing today prior to testimony. Mr. Cohen did not understand the question but did answer it. These "boxes" were returned to him at some point. All those documents were gathered during the FBI raid.

The GOP not only carries Trump's water they are stupid. Do you really think that the SDNY or the FBI or Mueller don't know ALL of this already.
